I just bought a 1300 mah Vision Rainbow Spinner "Style" ($12.01) and a 1300 mah Rainbow Evod Twist ($15.41)! I couldn't resist how pretty they are...

I appreciate cheap beauty...

(Great post, Ocelot!)

I will be curious to see how the Spinner "style" does in comparison to the original. I also appreciate cheap beauty and if the "style" works as well, I could buy more colors (and that rainbow one, too!).:)

I came back to vaping on December 1 (analog free for 4 months!!) and discovered the variable voltage batteries and clearos. Big improvements! FWIW, I bought 2 Smokteck 1300 mah Winder batteries which have worked great. Cost was $19.99 each at my local Brick & Mortar. I have one other battery, a Twist knock-off, but I can't read the settings on the ring without a direct light. The Winders (and Visions) are much easier to read and adjust, in my opinion.

That rainbow Spinner does look pretty cool!

It is cool:2cool:

My fiance has the rainbow 1300mah spinner and I have the white rubberized, they are great, and best of all they keep on working for like 5 months now, these two were a gift to us, so Id say were getting our money's worth... thanks Pattykain! (our generous friend)

The voltage settings on the Spinners are in increments of .5 from 3.3-4.8. That being said, if you turn the dial all the way up or down a quarter turn either way will increase or decrease the voltage by .5. You can then fine tune by just turning a hair between. Whether or not the numbers wear off or even in poor light you should be able to easily find the correct voltage. Just a random thought.

I mostly use a Provari now, but I used 1300 mah Vision Spinners for quite a while, and I was pretty happy with them. I still have a couple as backups. I think the choice between Joytech eGo's and Vision Spinners is just personal preference. I liked the size of the Spinners. The 1000 mah eGo's were longer, thinner, for less mah, and I liked the Spinners better, but that's just my choice. They give essentially the same results.

IMO, you don't need to know the actual voltage your using. Turn it up, or turn it down, as needed, until it gives you the results you want. Too high will start giving a burned taste, too low gives you far less flavor and vapor. That's the whole point of variable voltage, to be able to adjust to get it just right. The numbers don't really matter.
