I cant believe I havnt responded here yet but I will here goes. When I first started vaping I had the same question. After a bunch of research and not wanting something with a devil symbol on it. I decided on Janty because they were the only company who offered a warranty 6 month on atomizer and 3 months on battery. Before finding Janty it sucked you had to buy new atomizers every couple of weeks sometime every week. But with Janty you just buy an Ego kit and buy a back up atomizer and you have a spare when your atomizer fails because it will. Janty has the best customer service. Janty is the best company I have found and they stand behind their warranty. I highly reccomend you save yourself the headache and order from them.

I had no idea I was vaping a demon stick... :) I don't really think the folks at Volcano were purposefully thinking in that way since Inferno does have multiple meanings - a large uncontrolled fire, being one of them - in Italian the meaning is Hell
The username I chose many years ago was to represent a woman that was an uncontrolled fire... I just changed the ending to be more female.
But the folks at Volcano are located in Hawaii and do mean for their products to resemble anything related to the volcano. The magma, inferno, volcano...etc
Anyway I'm not promoting Inferno's I just went with one because it seemed cost effective with the inclusion of a passthrough battery in the starter kit. To each his own. It gave me a good laugh and a smile just the same. Cheers

Well...I do hope the OP has purchased the unit by now seeing as how the thread is two months old....

@Infernia
I think son et lumiera was talking about the totally wicked unit not the volcano product. Totally Wicked has a little red devil icon on there product. I am sure these people are equally opposed to the multiple military units that use the same symbol.

OOOPs... Im embarassed now... see I thought because Inferno meant Hell in Italian... oh well.... Hehe live and learn.. I still got a good laugh and now I have red face... Sorry Son et lumiera

Infernia, the vapemate works perfectly on the inferno. Add some tubing (water/icemaker supply line) into your juice bottle and most times it will even auto feed! SuperT now includes 2 bottles with the vapemates and it also pretty much takes any bottle with the childproof threads. Softer bottle will autofeed better. I recommend a colored E-juice in the vapemate until you get the hang of it. Clear juices can be hard to see in the sight glass, my cherry cola is obvious though. Yeah, I've flooded my atty alot....lol not so much with the colored juices.

Question for the eGo mega atomizer type A users... Is the cone threaded? or just the atty inside the cone? It was stated earlier in this thread that they couldn't be used on an inferno but in looking at pictures online, it looks like they'd work on Infernos.

I haven't tried the EGo but I do use the Volcano Inferno. Since I have nothing to compare it to I can only offer this: The Inferno appears to be well made and my experience has been very positive. Both the 650 and 1000 work very well and the charge life is very good. My 1000 lasts about two days and the 650 about 1 1/2 days. I vape constantly and I used to smoke 1 to 2 packs of analogs per day. I've had the Inferno for at least a month and no problems with either of them so far. I do know the Inferno accepts a 510 threaded atty so it's interchangable with any 510 product. I would recommend the Volcano Inferno with no reservations. Also, the delivery time and customer service has been nothing short of perfect! As for the price, it seems ok to me. I'm not one to waste time shopping around though. I just don't have the time!

Just wanted to add my 0.02. I am new to vaping (2 weeks now) and I ordered an inferno kit for myself and another for my wife. So far we are both loving it. I vape all day on 1 battery and it last anywhere between 2 to 3 days without needing a charge. Vapor production on it is also very nice. I dont regret it but again, I haven't tried anything else.

Cheers!!

I like my ego 1000mah.,use it constantly in fact I use it more than my silver bullet just because its small. I recomend a lr306 atty and drip tip is my combo of choice.

I would not recommend using a LR atty on any eGo or eGo type that has a battery voltage less than 3.6 volts. The eGo no matter what the mah rating is is at most 3.2 volts. I have tried this on my eGo (Tornado) and notice the battery life less than half. It is also detrimental to the battery.

Benji, let us know on your new kit when you test it out!

For me, I will always be a volcanoecig customer FTW...I've purchased a lot of things from them, and though some products I did not like, my vaping buddy loves it...so, to each their own...everyone is a bit different.

I've never had any CS problems with them...and yes, I do complain when the product is not as advertised.

Joe and the gang has never let me down...mahalo to Volcano!

Thanks for the tip about the vapemate. I will get one for my self-purchased-hey-kids-look-what-you-got-your-mom present. :)
And I know the original OP probably has his setup but this thread is still useful to newbs who use the search function.
Have to second Volcano CS. The Inferno kit is not the cheapest kit, but with the PT I think it was worth it to me. I tried to get a green eGo with the same setup as the Inferno and would have spent about 10dollars more for the PT.
I ordered spare atomizers on Christmas eve and a new Inferno kit for a friend Christmas day. They arrived at my box on the 28th. For USPS and coming from Hawaii that was ultrafast. kudos.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the long delay in the update. I decided to get a couple of kits and allow myself enough time to give a thorough review.

First of all... I will not recommend the T-Rex :(

The T-Rex is definitely an appealing design. The blue light ring is a nice touch on the black model that I had ordered, but the technical issues are just too tough to overlook.
1. Although it looks like the metal button is a solid design... it seems "loose" and tends to jiggle around, making it feel cheap
2. The batteries have a tendency to just naturally "die"
3. The wiring / switch are very susceptible to damage from any small bump / jolt
4. Although it's a 900 mAh battery, it doesn't last any longer than a 600 mAh eGo (probably due to the extra draw for the LED light)
I'll be posting a more thorough review in the reviews section so everyone can see more details and pictures of what the issues are (I got fed up with the batteries so I tore one apart to investigate :p)

During this entire fiasco with the T-Rex I picked up a 600 mAh blue eGo kit from liberty flights during one of their sales, and after nearly two months.... no issues! :)
The eGo has held up beautifully after dropping it many times and taking it out to the ski hill in our lovely Canadian winter :p

I can't comment on the inferno yet but I think I'll buy a kit so I can have a full comparison between the popular models

My current advice: ~Anyone looking to upgrade or buy a new PV should stay away from T-Rex and keep to the more popular models that people are using. Trust me, I've been through 5 T-Rex batteries so far and only the latest one that was replaced has lasted more than a week

Hopefully this saves a few from the headaches that I've experienced ;)
