Benji you can honestly put together a few a la cart orders for not much more than an entire kit
you can go to liberty flights and order a front charge usb EGO bat (25 bucks)
and then volcano and do the same thing (I think it is like 24 bucks with cone)
and all the equipment works for both (if you already have enough 510 attys its even cheaper if not pick up one from either or both vendors)

That is exactly what I should do!

I was in the state of mind that I should be ordering a "kit" from a vendor but ordering parts & pieces is the best avenue to see what styles I like. Plus if I want more I'll know which I like.

650, 750, 900, or higher batteries is the next question. What's the drain time on those batteries?

People will say "that depends on how much you vape"
650 gets me through an entire work day or an entire sit at home day(which involves much more vaping)
only if it is going to be one of those long nights do I need to plug it in while I vape on it to make sure it doesn't run out.
I think 650 can comfortably be rated at 6-7 hours...volcano lists it at 4 but I think they are being conservative. 6 hours of what I consider heavy vaping later this thing is still going. Though I sometimes plug it in while I am vaping so I may have a skewed perception of its battery life. "Heavy vaping" to me drains a fresh 510 normal size in about an hour.

1000mah seems to last forever (all day) but it is a little longer and I get tired of screwing them on the charger...I default to the 650 even for around the house.

If you keep checking Liberty-Flights they occasionally put the eGo in the ECF special for $39.99. I got one the other day but they go fast. Keep checking it makes no sense to buy the parts
Kit comes with :

•2 x manual eGo 650mAh batteries
•2 x Joye 510 atomizer
•2 x Atomizer Cone
•5 x tobacco cartridges
•1 x high speed USB charger
•1 x usb mains charger
•1 x user manual
•1 x presenation box
If you shop that list it is going to cost a lot more than $39.99 and in a few weeks they will have the Riva kit back on sale for $29.99 w/750mah batteries then it really makes no sense. For the cost of a little more than a battery you can have 2 complete PV's. Just my $.02

Yeah that definitely makes sense. The only downside is the special only comes in black :p

I would like to add that I own an ego, purchased one when they first came out, a tornado, a riva and most recently a inferno. I have to say that the inferno really is a great deal for what you get. I like the 650 mah passthrough battery that comes with it as well as the cone that slides on and off with the o-ring. I've had no performance issues with it. The one thing I do suggest is you get the Cisco low res 306 atomizer with it. The 510 atty just doesn't cut it. A 650 Mah, a 1000 mah, 2 cones and a charger for 59 bucks is a pretty good deal as far as I'm concerned.

I am sorry Debak had such a poor interaction with the supplier that she dealt with. I am not sure who that was, since I have only dealt with the volcano staff through the website. I was not aware that they had a brick and mortar storefront anywhere but in Hawaii. Also, I didn't spend nearly as much as Debak did on similar items- so maybe the best bet is to deal directly through the volcano web site. FWIW, I have not lived in Hawaii since 1988, I would love to go back there, as it was a beautiful place, and I have only had my volcano products for about 3 months, but everything that I have still works fine, except for one manual battery that I screwed up the button on. I love my inferno, and use them and my V3 daily, putting the flavors that I prefer at 3.7 volts in the inferno (coffee and my fire and ice) and my other flavors in my V3. Battery life on my inferno is great, usually I get 2 days from the longer battery, and the one day I managed to forget my other 2 pv's, the short battery lasted the whole day by itself. I chose to purchase my Vgo from Volcano because of the customer service and the warranty, and since all of this stuff comes from the same manufacturers in China and is rebranded by the US company, I chose the company I wanted to deal with, to purchase the Vgo (rebranded as the inferno) that came from China.

Glad you're happy with your purchase.

I can buy two eGo 900mAh batteries ($22 each), an eGo fast charger ($8), and 2 cones ($5 each) plus $2 shipping for $64 total at:

LiteCigUSA.net (where I can also buy many other 510, 808 and other parts and juice/flavors for low prices, plus $2 shipping fee for orders under $75, ships same or next day from PA, and has customer service who responds the same day to emails -- not a week later, like Volcano -- or not at all, in my recent case):
Electronic Cigarette Supplies & Electronic Cigarette Refills for Name-Brand Electronic Cigarettes! E-Cigs from LiteCigUSA

Think the 650 is how I'll be going for right now. This way, the 510 is charged, packed and ready to go for work everyday and I'll be basically using 650 battery at home in the evening with a spare one for weekends if I need it. Now just to find the most awesome deal on a 650. Benji, excellent thread. Thank you to everyone for the information.
