Ego vs Hello 016 (opinions needed)

O wow, i am stuck between the same two PV's. i have a thread open where i been getting advice as to which PV i should buy. at first i said i was leaning towards the eGo, then someone introduced me to the Hello..now im stuck between the two as well. I like the way the eGo looks(size and shape), and i hear it vapes good. But, i like the sounds of the Hello(battery life)(i think the ego looks sexier thoo lol). The only thing that makes me doubleguess the hello is that it uses cartomizers, im not sure if cartomizers are the way to go...I've never vaped, so i cant say its better or worse.. Which should i buy??AHHHH .. lol

Edit::: oh and question...can we drip and/or dip with the hello and/or the eGo? im a newb.. i just wanna learn the most out of whichever one i go for first.

There is a new Hello 016 model out that's packaged with cartomizers, but the original comes with two cones that have the attys built into them. It's a one piece unit.

You can drip with either however it will be much harder to dip (IMO).

One thing Ive learned in life...If you buy whats popular (say Chevy vs. Sabb) then as better accessorys become available, they are usually cheaper & stand a better chance getting updating (better batts, etc..)
Both are better than the 901 I started with, and im still happy with it!!
I'd say find what is most widely used and then go for the best price

Het Dubs, have you seen the "Elegant"? It's basicly a Riva (750 mAh) with a 901 connecter sold at Cig Easy. It's kinda expensive compared to the deals on the 510 types right now but I still prefer the flavor production of the 901 attys over the 510. You can use the ego charger for a hello batt. If you want you can buy a hello batt for $18.95 including shipping and $9.95 if you want the hello specific atty also.

Oh cool, thanks! I didn't know I could use it on the eGo charger, that's great! I thought I'd have to buy the whole battery kit, or at least a batt and charger.

Yes, I use either charger with the other battery. Basically whichever is free at the time. I'm charging an Ego battery on the Hello charger as we speak.

No it won't. The hello only has threading for and atty. The hello 016 has a cone built onto their atty.

No. The Hello is threaded so only their cone will fit as it has to be attached to the atty since the atty connection is the only part of the battery threaded. Their conimizer is more mushroom shaped.

You can connect any 510 atty/carto, or different models with adapters to the Hello without having a cone as well. That's practically the only way I use it as I only have one juice that I can taste at 3.7v.

The threading of the 016 battery is the same as any 510 battery. So any atty you can use on a 510, you can with the Hello, just without a cone. The hello's conamizer will also fit any 510 battery. It'll just look really weird.

Thats what i did..already had the ego then ordered just a hello battery..big difference if you are looking for more battery life..i don't have a cone for it, really don't need one..i can use anything 510 on it..

So just to confirm:

The Hello 016 can use a 510 atty without the Hello cone (as it's proprietary);

The Ego can use 510 atty with the Ego cone.

Is this correct? If so, I've definitely made my decision, which is the Ego. I like the look of the cone, and being as I'm a 510 user, and 510 attys/carts are cheap and in an abundance everywhere, the Ego seems like the most logical of the two (the battery life of both is good, and with the current promotion for two full Ego's for $50, the difference in battery life doesn't mean much to me as i'm currently swapping 510 batteries every 1.5 hours which is as soon as i feel and see a reduction in the vapor production and TH).
