Depends on what you like. The standard eGo runs at about 3.4 volts. The kGo runs around 3.7 volts. Personally..for me, since I use 1.7 and 2 ohm single coils...the eGo is a better "fit". But I have kGos also, and they are solid devices, too. With me it's mostly a "mood" thing. Sometimes I want more "punch" and sometimes I'm more into the flavor.

It all depends on what you are looking for in your vape.

so more volts more hit/punch? lower volts more flavor with lower ohm coils?

that is correct....and more vapor with higher volts and lower ohms. i think a low res carto (around 2.0ohms) and a 3.7 device is PERFECT.
a kgo comes off the charger @4.2volts but goes down to 3.7 after a bit of vaping. i have had a kgo for over a year and absolutely love it. if you end up getting the kgo, buy the kit (comes with a charger, you can not charge a kgo with an ego charger). hoosierecig.com has them for the least amount of $ that i have seen.

(and 25 boge 2.0 cartos from surevapes for $23 shipped) :)

Id be interested in this too as I charge my kgo with my ego charger, I really would hate to do any harm to it.

Same here. I've read all the specs on both chargers and their input and output are identical. I'm just wondering if they may be talking about the little ego's can't remember what their called now. I've used both chargers on both devices and never had a problem with either. Even the wall plug-in's have the same voltage input and output. The only difference I've found is that one had kGo on it and the other has Joye printed on it.

After I thought a bit about it I can remember watching something on youtube where the guy had said use the correct charger for each batt but i cant remember what i was watching. I have noticed on my kgo the light is yellow rather than green when charged Im not sure if that is a fault with it as its been like that since new or maybe its not charging correctly???

I'm pretty happy with the kGO VV. I've been using the Apollo version for the last week and only have one issue with it.

Your happy with a battery you've had for a week and already have an issue with?

Every time I'm about ready to give one a try, I read about an issue. Bummer.

I have a pair of the ego-v and i have had 2 issues. 1 is they seem to turn themselves off often and i have to do the 5 click to get it back on. 2. once i get down to 2 bars on the battery i have to start lowering my voltage because it will stop firing. neither is a deal breaker for me it is just a reminder of why i'm saving up for a more expensive device.
