Ego vs PT

Alright, vaping for about 2 months. Since day one haven't looked back at analogs. Started with a joye 510. Changing the batteries never was a big problem for me. Also never bothered with carts just went straight to dripping. Now the joye510 worked great for about a month and then i bought a passthrough from cignot with the battery attached inline. The PT works so much better than the regular 510 i love it. Now i find myself wanting the quality hits from it than when i go wireless lol. So this and the fact that my gf finally wants to give vaping a solid chance i went an ordered an ego.

Just out of curiosity can i expect the eGo to give me solid performance like my passthrough?

I wouldn't expect the same output as the PT from the Ego since the Ego will only be at it highest output for a short time then drop down to a lower voltage while the PT stays consistent throughout.

Think of it as a Joye 510 with a longer lasting battery about it well worth it if you cant be next to a computer or outlet all day.

I went from a 510/manual battery to a passthrough to an Ego. The passthrough was great but very delicate (I'm on my third one in five months). Aside from breaking, my only complaint about the passthrough was feeling tethered to my habit.

I've been using the eGo for about two weeks w/ Nhaler's little drip tip. One battery lasts 16 hours and doesn't weaken until right before it starts blinking. The other one lasts about 10 hours. Toss it in my purse or pocket with a little bottle of juice and I don't have to worry about how long I'll be gone.

Caveat: one of my batteries died a couple days ago after I dropped it about three feet. Go figure, it was the better of the two.

After reading some posts here I opted to order the Riva kit instead. It works with my cone and 510 atomizers and single batteries are available in case I drop one again.

Is your passthrough a 3.7 or 5v? I don't really think the eGo is going to perform better than the passthrough either way tbh.

I like the eGo but if you already have a 510 and a passthrough I would get a mod next. Since I got my silver bullet I rarely even use my standard 510, eGo, or 5v passthrough.

Using an 18650 battery the sb performs better than my eGo and using 2 rcr123a batteries the sb performs as well as my vp pt passthrough.
