One small issue, imo the base orings were damaged at the factory and opening it the first time.. They installed the base with no lube on the rings and the orings are slightly cut or damaged. I get a slight weep over a couple days. Also this would affect the tightness if the jc if the oring was compressed.

They should have lubed the orings with pg or vg before assembling. Same goes for the tank since some have trouble getting it apart...

So I'll have to use my spare orings already if I want to keep it Completely dry.

We should demand they include two sets for the base because the first set is already a little shot out of the box. Works fine, but not sealed completely.

That's my little petty complaint. Otherwise this tank is rocking, not a single issue in use.

Not a complaint at all.

Very useful information.

People want a tank with NO fuss..they don't want to worry about sealed o rings...sealed glass that breaks trying to tear a tank apart...BUT we need to hear the issues so we know what to avoid.

From the information I've read about the bachelor it seems to me they missed the mark

Only by not lubing, and I don't know of other chinese tanks that do. The tolerances are tight on this one. Replacing 2 orings is Not a deal breaker, and it may just be the person that assembled mine.

I got the tank off. It's was snug though, but in a way that's good. Very tight tolerance and seal on the tank.. I think just putting some soapy water in the tank would help most people that have trouble.

The tank is great, I'm thinking you'd be missing out big time if you didn't order it. I think the wick layout, juice feed, and deck design beats the lemo hands down. This has been the simplest tank to set up, wick, and use, I've ever had. Not a single fuss vaping it.

What else are you looking at?

That's what I was afraid of ... I think I might already have shinyitis

Anyway, I have at least two days to wait before it arrives, what coil build would you guys recommend for DL and cloud/flavor balance?

:vapor:
I'm using SS clapton, 26/32, 6 wraps and 3mm coming in at around .54 ohms. 30 watts at 450 degrees. Using it with air flow and juice control wide open.

An update on the top fill gasket.
Quoting from an email I received this morning:
"At present, there is one online store USA Eciggity will offer top fill gasket for bachelor tank.
But could you tell me whare are you from?"

So, after the 'campaign' it seems they listened and will offer the gasket for sale. When? Who knows.

hi toolman
I see that the professional nano has a way to reduce the air at the bottom of the coil for mtl vaping . they are using two different hollow screws to do it ..but the tank is only 2 ml .sono go for me . some one mentioned a way to do it on the batchelor he used a small piece of silicon tubing pushed in to the air passage under the coil!
tried that and it made the tank from ja nice to whow!!
cant put it down now ...ordered another from ft.

Nice!

Yeah, 2ml is very small capacity but with top fill the convenience factor goes up so I can handle it, especially with smaller chimney which I would fully expect to give dynamite flavor.

I will try to explain it a little better...
the air hole coming from the bottom under the coil is to large for mtl vaping is defusing the air hitting the coil to much in my opinion so reducing that will concentrate the flow to the coil . like putting a nozzle on a garden hose !
just make sure and cut the little tube at an angle in the bottom and place not to impede any air flow for the rest of it .and short .. not sticking up past the existing opening.
easy! it looks the manufacturer took care of it with the new pro version ..the 2 ml one . they have 2 different size hollow screws to give you a choice ..next time ill open it ill try and take some pics..have fun

Anyone know the size of the o ring in the chimney? I think its not sealing anymore and they didn't include measurements or replacements. I know the glass section is air tight. Bottom not so much.
hi oblong
I can only emagen its the small black one in there in the package which is 5.7 by 0.8 mm as close I can mesure it.
just filled my tank up again and don't want to open it .

Uh, just checked my spare parts pack.. My package contains the upper chamber oring. It's the small clear one that is flat. Looks like the base orings but flat.

I found out it was weeping a tiny bit because the tank wasn't fully tight. It doesn't seem to be weeping now.
