Yeah i thought i did that with every wick but apparently something was still wrong.

What kind of cotton do you use and what kind of technique are you using?

Plugged mine and it didn't affect performance. I removed the plugs when i washed it the last time.
oh the agony did and it didn't seem to make any difference

i'm using muji cotton pads. i just cut a strip, roll it up and thread thru the coil (2.5 - 4mm id), nothing fancy at all. i do wick pretty tight, cut at a slight angle longer at the bottom. then i push it into the slot so it's flush with the outside, prime, assemble and vape. i haven't plugged my holes since there's been no need. i have a big serpent coming today, i hope i find it as easy to wick as my bachelor is.

Yes, those are them (well, I have Clapton IIIs and Tiger Wire).

What I meant was... they're relatively short and wrapped counter-clockwise which the Serpent decks are designed for. Have a look at the coil positioning and you'll see.

But... after so stridently using "literally" correctly, I have to backpeddle (damn it).

The coils are full wraps and the Serpent decks use half-wrap.
I should have remembered that. I'll be adding a half wrap to use them.
And I will use them. :p

For power... those fat-boy Cat Tracks are probably gonna want a surprising amount.
But they're designed to handle it.

Well, we'll see. My package from Eciggity hasn't updated since Monday evening. :(
It's still just showing arrival at Honolulu.

But yeah MMW... do what I did and get both. :p

I haven't replaced the 24g SS I put in the Bachelor, but it does limit your build options a little having to span that distance between the leg holes. Unless one leaves extra long legs just hangin' out there.

But damn... it makes for a tasty, productive vape, even with just a simple coil.

The Serpent is intriguing to me for its' simple suspended single coil deck, and the slightly different method of placing or pinning the legs. I have two RBA decks for my OG Sub Tank from last summer... and have never used it. So it's old school, but new to me.
Looking forward to it.

Just have to remember to roll 'em Lefty.
WoToFo loves CCW coils. :p

Jim, I was thinking of grabbing both. That deck, minus the trap screws, reminds me of the subtank mini v1 RBA head.

Funny, I ended up with the Bachelor after looking for a replacement for my Toptank because I wanted more build-space than the Kanger RBA offered :)

I'm kinda curious about the Theorem too. I really love the look of it even though the color of the o-rings don't match my mod at all. Anyone here has one perhaps?

Yeah... for a 22mm tank, there's a lot of space to work in the Bachelor. :p

It really is the perfect size for the coils I prefer.

Thread can use another pic by the way :)

As I rarely vape over 25W, all of my mods max out at 75W (Evic VTC Mini/Eleaf Pico/Athena Envy22 are the only ones that go that high). What coils (gauge/ohm) should I look for that will play nice with my mods and not drain my single 18650 battery in an hour? LOL!

Don't get me wrong, I disliked the V1 rba head. I have higher hopes for the Serpent mini though, being a true RTA.

Those were from before my time I'm afraid.

I've only used the RBA Plus and the Plus V2 (on the left) myself:

I like the Plus. The juice holes on the V2 are a little too low and too large making it difficult to wick without leaking in my limited experience.

Yeah, I liked the v2/plus also. Bought a few extras a while ago from litecigusa. I like the STM's because there are available replacements for every part.

I'd have to look at the specs, and listen to some more experienced builder's opinions, but those Cats don't look like they'd play well with only 25w. I could be wrong. But I expect somewhere between 30 and 50w would do the job... they're not that big. :D

The two I have are relatively skinny, and at least the Tiger Wire does fine with lower power.
I'll find out about the C IIIs when I get the Serpent.

I forgot... you're one of the last (visibly) with a big brother Muscle Car VT in rotation.

What do you think of the new model "VT Two"?

I'm glad they are launching with at least some color... but I'd have been stoked to see them revive the original theme. Damn those three are unique in that.
Maybe later models.

It's not even in rotation, it's my only mod! lol

I only upgraded to a more capable set-up 6 or 7 weeks ago, after years and years on Egos (my original Ovale Ego-T from 2011 still works today!).

I'm really glad they are releasing the VTwo, it is such an awesome mod imo. Besides the fabulous looks I really like the rocker switch and large build in battery personally.

The new version adds the ability to upgrade the firmware, boosts it up to 80W, and ads TC SS mode as well. What more could we ask for?

I really dislike the black button and rocker switch however, and kinda feel it's blasphemy that they have versions without racing stripes too now...

But those objections are just a matter of personal taste of course. Still, I feel strong enough about them that I'm considering another VT in racing yellow instead of buying the new version...or maybe even swap out the guts of a new one in to the body of the old one, haha.

i have a theorem and i like it a lot. it can be very airy compared to the bachelor, but you can dial down the air to next to nothing if you like. it can take a large coil but you have to make some crazy (imo) bends in the legs for the build. if kept upright it can't leak, in fact the o-rings that hold it together can make it hard to take apart. the supplied drip tip is way too short, i use one from my stm and it fits well. it's very easy to fill which is a good thing because the tank is small and wicks juice like crazy. the connections seem rock solid and i get no variations using it in tc mode. i'm glad i bought mine and have been using it everyday along with my beloved bachelor. of course there's a ton more info and better worded on it's own thread. hope this helps:vapor:

That helps a lot, thanks!

Is the flavor similar to the Bachelor with the airflow set similar, and does it use a lot more juice than the Bachelor?

With the loose wick I have in my Nano right now it's easy to empty the tank in ten minutes or so if I'm in the mood for it, but that's just 2ml.
