it's the build that uses the juice, not the tank imo. flavor is maybe a bit better with the theorem, hard to tell tho....
i wish the serpent had the same deck as the serpent mini. or the bachelor had the same deck as the serpent mini.![]()
ya im not sure i would like the serpent deck but the serpent mini deck looks like the perfect fit for us single coil guys.i like the bachelor deck better, but i found the serpent easy too.

Side note...
Holy crap, I went to JT's site to look at the new VTwo Mini and landed on the full size page.
They have five solid colors... AND THE THREE ORIGINALS TOO.
There ya go.
Hell's bells... the Mini has nine solid colors.![]()
ok thanks. ya i didnt even see dual core claptons on AVS tbh. how high can i get my ohms up to with a 28/32 in this tank? the higher the better for me. i like to get a little better battery out of my device.
ok cool. are you spacing the claptons and how many wraps?Right now my Bachelor Mini is reading .62Ω and I'm pretty sure it's a 26/32 SS coil. I have a 28/32 SS coil in my full sized Bachelor and it's .91Ω. At least that's what I have in my notes. I retired the full sized tank last week because I was tired of all the seepage.
Haven't checked the Evic VT thread here on ECF aye?
I posted a pic of all VTwo versions there yesterday![]()
There's videos too, go look!![]()
Yes. I definitely space out SS claptons. I'm not sure how many wraps are on the Nano. I'll check it next time I rewick it. I unboxed the full sized Bachelor and it has 7 wraps. Double checked the ohms and it read .96 with the 28/32g SS Clapton wire. That build on the full size Bachelor gave me the nicest vape of any RTA I own. Better than the Serpent with a SS 2x28/30g fused Clapton from Advanced Vape Supply. I haven't tried the Serpent Mini but I just ordered 2 Merlin RTAs.ok cool. are you spacing the claptons and how many wraps?
im thinking about picking up a serpent mini.
awesome, thanks for the info! im glad i will be able to get a clapton build in there spaced out and up higher on the ohm meter. going to order some of AVS wire. ill check out that merlin as well.Yes. Anytime! I vape exactly the same way. Single 18650 mods are pretty much all I use and I prefer higher ohm SS Clapton builds for TC. Lets you stay low on the watts, has plenty of flavor, and gives you very decent battery life without burning through a ton of juice. Please let us know how you like the AVS wire.awesome, thanks for the info! im glad i will be able to get a clapton build in there spaced out and up higher on the ohm meter. going to order some of AVS wire. ill check out that merlin as well.
what single 18650 mods do you use? im on a istick TC100w.Single 18650 mods are pretty much all I use and I prefer higher ohm SS Clapton builds for TC.

I use 2 VTC Minis, a Presa 75 and an Eleaf Pico. I have a Cuboid but it's not in the rotation.what single 18650 mods do you use? im on a istick TC100w.
The ramp up isn't instant but it's perfect for me. The first vape from a cold coil can take a second or two to come up to full temp but the next hits are right there. I'm using fairly small Clapton wire so most of them aren't too bulky. It doesn't hit the coil with an instant blast of heat when the coil is cold, so it's comfortable for people who don't like to burn their lips on their drip tips, as long as you stick to glass or delrin tips. It's easy to adjust the ramp up if you prefer more heat. I have the 26/32g and 28/32g Clapton builds set to 24w and a .42 ohm 2x28/30g fused Clapton set to 35w.Just curious as I haven't tried that scenario... how's the ramp up with lower power and that much metal?
Yep, it's my fav RTA. I'm gonna get a couple more of these.
It's a bit thirsty, at least with my twisted coils & wicking, but the flavor & vapor production is so good that I don't really mind.
I still don't understand why I can't get the regular Bachelor to stop leaking though, I've tried two but both had the same problem. I don't think it's my wicking to be honest, since I haven't got it wrong on the Nano even once. I currently have a pretty loose wick in my Nano and I feared it was gonna be problematic when I installed it, but even when I forgot to close off the JFC one night it still didn't leak a drop.
My use is pretty low currently so I don't really need a larger tank at the moment, but I'll probably end up paring a Nano base with a full size Bachelor at some point or another.
I've had the same issue with mine and have finally given up on it.
oh the agony did and it didn't seem to make any difference
i'm using muji cotton pads. i just cut a strip, roll it up and thread thru the coil (2.5 - 4mm id), nothing fancy at all. i do wick pretty tight, cut at a slight angle longer at the bottom. then i push it into the slot so it's flush with the outside, prime, assemble and vape. i haven't plugged my holes since there's been no need. i have a big serpent coming today, i hope i find it as easy to wick as my bachelor is.
Thanks. Great to know that muji works fine, i use muji as well and my coils are 2.5-3mm id (26g kanthal) since i don't have any bigger coil posts. I try to wick it as tight as possible without distorting the coil. I try to avoid letting the wick touching the holes but sometimes i see that it's touching it and i move it.
Do you build your coils high or low?
Another part that's a little hard for me is to have perfect lenght on the wick since i don't want it to be too long either.
