when mine leaks, its not right away. sometimes its after a couple tank fulls have gone through it. it comes out the bottom and sometimes the airflow holes. i was closing off my juice control and turning upside down after i filled to open again. i thought that might be the issue but im not turning it upside down to open the JFC now and its still coming out the bottom again.

I've never been able to put several fillings through one before it started to leak, but it does take a while some times. It happened twice to me with two different ones that I was able to vape on them for the entire evening before they started leaking, always through the airflow holes.

It's never right away for me either. I read a product review at a vendor and they said they changed the bottom o-ring on the base to the next size bigger and stopped the leaking. I have no idea what size that would be, but if that's all it takes, I'd sure like to know.

I might try and sacrifice one of the chimney o-rings of one of my retired leaky Bachelors to test that theory. It's about the same size as the ones on the bottom below and above the post-screws but a little thicker. I have put one of the clear chimney o-rings in the spot for the upper o-ring on the base once and it fit but it did get shaved down to size when screwing it together. Perhaps it is far enough past the threads to remain whole on the bottom slot.

@ShowerHead unbox it. I've been using mine now for about a week, At first it leaked like crazy. I'm now thinking it was because I damaged the glass (hairline crack) when I had to use pliers to take it apart for a washing. After figuring out how much cotton to put in, I'm happily vaping a 28g 3mm diam build ohming at 1.4 JFC half open, and AFC half open. No leaks. Oh I also use the black o-rings vs blue.

I'm deffitally getting another tank for the hubby. He likes the top fill design on this. And now that I know I can use it without leaks He will be getting one.

The recent posts here are going to cause me to unbox my recently purchased Bachelors and see if they leak.
I've never had a leak that I didn't cause (fail to close AFC and JFC before filling) on the two I got when they were first released.

That's probably a good idea.

I would love it to be user error on my part since it is an awesome RTA when it doesn't leak, but if it were user errors that caused mine to leak than I can't explain why I have one Bachelor Nano that is my daily driver which simply refuses to leak no matter how I treat it.

Just for reference, I've owned one full-size SS Bachelor and a black Nano. The full-size one felt much "looser" in general, and tended to seep a little through the AFC. However the Nano has been bullet-proof throughout. It's only ever leaked on one occasion, and that was due to me accidentally partially unscrewing the tank from the base.
I can happily say that the Nano is still, to date, my favourite tank.

Oh i forgot i was going to add.... if the small fill holes cause a problem sometimes... Like if you want to fill directly from a big bottle or boston round.... if you pull the fill seal out you can fill from a big bottle without making a mess... risk of seal damage is on you..lol

Mine is still weeping a little.. its better but still weeping.. it is NOT coming through the wick or airflow area. It is weeping through the seals and coming out around the afc. This is where it always weeps.

I replaced the upper oring and will now replace the lower oring.

Replaced the lower oring... big difference. It gets really, really, tight now. When i got it all the way tight.... drum roll.. the juice slots line up with the wicks !#?!

Used to be 3/4 of the way into them when i got it. #?#

For a while, I had my full size unscrewed slightly so the wicking was visible. It was because I do the same no problem with my OG 'Mizer because of it's "diagonal" airflow alignment.

That was a mistake.

It was never more than light seepage but starting with the Nano, I locked them both down and they're fine. There's a lot more gap between the juice supply walls than I had thought so it wasn't the design flaw I had thought it to be. And yes... that JFC really does close off the flow... I've lost count of the times I've forgotten to re-open it and pull a "Busardo", wondering what just broke on my mod. :p

I just did it so it will be a day to make sure all residual juice trapped up around the afc has drained.

Just the two orings on the base.Theres two in the package along with the flat chimney seal.

Apparently the bottom one was already compressed when i got it a few months ago. This new one is night and day and the way its supposed to be..

So both orings were shot out of the box.. i suffered along for two months.. that's why i needed more than one set for the base.

Well I tried a thicker o-ring on the bottom of the base of my black Nano. The one from the chimney fits nice and tight in there. Made sure it was seated properly like Jeremy describes above too and everything fit together nice and tight.

Took about five minutes for the tank was half empty again, without me hitting it...

Looks like the problem on my Bachelors is up top in the chimney somewhere, & then it leaks to the base of the RTA through the big airflow hole below the coil before it comes seeping out through the adjustable airflow slots.

I have some spare black o-ring for the mouthpiece that came with the MTL kits, I'll see if it's worth to try those up top instead of the little ones that are meant to go there tomorrow. Don't feel like getting juice on my hands again today.

@JeremyR, yours came with two spares for the base plus one for the chimney? All of the four I've unboxed came with one spare for the base and one for the chimney. Lucky dog :p
