fasttech is selling replacement glass: $9.54 Authentic EHpro Bachelor Replacement Glass tank (5-Pack) - Tank, Glass, Translucent, 5-Pack (free shipping) - fasttech.com

$9.54 Authentic EHpro Bachelor Replacement Glass Tank (5-Pack) 5-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Makes me wonder if I put in a ticket asking them to carry replacement seals for the top fill, if they would do it...
Try the request and I will do the same. Someone needs to carry the seals.

I got mine on Sunday. First issue out of the box, the seals on the glass were so tight I managed to break the glass tube trying to get it broke down so I could clean it. I'm glad there was a spare in the box.
I am on my 5th tank of juice . I replaced the original coil because, as others have stated, it was slow to heat. Went with a 9 wrap, 26 ga ss316 at 3mm. Spaced out to the width of the lead holes. It came out at .68 ohms. Had a bit of trouble getting the grubs screws tight. The allen key seems to be slipping in the screw socket before they get tight.
Now that it's working normally I am pretty happy with the vape, though I haven't been able to dial it in to a sweet spot yet. Also, it has become obvious this tank is NOT pocket friendly. The Juice/air controls move very easily, and it has flooded in my pocket the few times I have tried it. I'm glad I have my kayfuns for work. The bachelor will remain at home safely on the coffee table.
Overall, I like it alot. Flavor is very good, topfill is trouble free, and rewicking is a breeze, even when nearly full of juice.

Once you get more time with it I think you'll be able to pocket it. I've thrown it in the bottom of my purse with the jfc open.

Can't believe that you managed to break the tank. Next time fill it with some dish soap and water in the tank and let it set or shake up to lube the orings.

You gotta be careful with the two seals in the base and the one seal in the chimney. Make sure they are always lubed. And slide the base in before you try to thread it or the top ring with get cut on the threads.

As long as your wick fills the slots, you should be fine. If it leaked you probably need more wick, or a different wick. Or the top chamber seal fell out.

I find the jc to stay put because the tank doesn't really turn in your pocket. The top base orings seems to be what adds the resistance to the jc. So maybe the top one is damaged and causing it to be loose.

Also to note, as it's been said, things seem to get tighter as the orings and top seal swell slightly from the juices.

Good input, thank you. Next time I rewick, I'll check all the o rings etc, and play with better wicking. It seems vaping is always a work in progress.

Finally got a chance to put in a Fasttech ticket for the top fill seal (even though I've had no issues with mine)

Here's what I said:
"The Ehpro Bachelor tank has a small flaw. The round white silicone gasket that seals the top fill is easily damaged. It's a repeated complaint on a very large e-cigarette-forum thread for the Bachelor. Ehpro has been reluctant to offer replacements. It would be awesome if Fasttech offered replacement top fill seals or complete o-ring sets including the seal. "

Anyone else interested in asking go to Fanatical Support: FastTech click on "general" then "product request". I copy and pasted the link to the Bachelor on fasttech in the "link to product" box. This may garner no results but I've heard that fasttech is pretty responsive to requests.

Yep I tried again and got the same response so I tried Eciggity to see if they could get some.

Damn shame, build a tank and won't sell spares. Daisy at EHPro just keeps telling me to buy more tanks. Those would be some damn expensive O-rings.

I forwarded the EHPro e-mail to Eciggity since they are a primary business partner so they could ask EHPro what the hell they were thinking.
lots of luck with eciggity !bought a statqualm clone from them once. the factory left out the top oring the juice run out faster the I could fill it . they wanted me to take a picture and I explained to them in an email ..of what ?
a missing part or find a way to photograph throuw ss ?
never got an answer back on that one.
never ordered from them again and if I would have known that ehpro is in anyway associated with them I would have not ordered this one from ft.so lots of luck with eciggity...am still mad the only atty which never vaped,

Just tell ehpro themselves you refuse to buy it without an extra top cap seal, because no replacement is available. Let them think your holding money back from them as a result of this.

Just what I did today.
Along the lines of "I love my two tanks and would like to buy the Nano, but won't because I can't get spare parts specifically the top fill gasket"

Got 2 of this from Fasttech. Waited 2 weeks to ship and 1 month to arrive. Had high expectations first but dissappointed when tried it. Tried it out of the box with stock coil. The flavor was a delicious rubber, silicon and plastic taste :D.

Cleaning process:
- Dish soap bath for an hour.
Test again: rubber, silicon, plastic taste.
- Alcohol bath for an hour
Test again: rubber, silicon, plastic taste.
- Toothpaste + toothpaste + water bath
Test again: rubber, silicon, plastic taste
- Alcohol bath for 2 hours (both o-rings), boiling in hot water for 10 minutes without the o-rings
Test again: Success !!!

I spent most of the day to clean this tank. BUt then, it was done. No leaking problems, even JFC open to maximum with 50/50 pg/vg. It's pretty easy to wick it.
Tried 26G kanthal, 3mm, 10 wraps @ 1.5ohm (spaced) and other tank 24G, 3mm, 13 wraps @ 1.3ohm (contact). Both of them were close to the air hole. Not high, but as low as possible.
The first one with AFC close to minimum (almost close) it's cold and smooth, great for MTL vapers, similar to KF4 and Taifun GT-T but more vapor as bonus. I tried it at 10 watts.
The second one was little hardcore for me since I usually don't go more than 12 watts. I had to go to 18 watts to "start" it. It heat slowly and cold slowly. But flavor and vapor production was there (great). I think Ill like it with lower nicotine juice. It was warm to hot. I think this config might be good in cold days outside since low power setup has no taste and flavor in colds days outside.

Usually the flavor production is better with 2.5mm coils compared to 3mm with other tanks I have. 2.5mm will be next to try in this but it migh cause wicking issues.

I think Ill like this tank. What I don't like is the AFC is to loose, it might be tighter. JFC is not aligned with the deck wick hole. Not big deal since juice can reach the cotton from the channel. And of course the cleaning process that was...

Last thing, I changed the drip tip to something tighter, similar to Aspire Nautilus because I'm more MTL.

This is day 1. Will keep posting about this...
