I've found that it can leak if the bottom of the cotton wick is long enough to interfere with the o-ring that's right below the wicking channel. If the cotton sits on that o-ring it seems to weep a little from right above the airflow control ring. I wish the wick cutout was just a little less deep. It's right on top of that o-ring. You can see the o-ring right below the excellent wicking job in the bottom right image here (with rayon).

As others have said, it's much easier to get enough cotton in the channel if you use a large diameter coil. I use a 3mm rod for SS Clapton coils (they spring out a bit further than 3mm) and a 3.5mm rod with 26-24g SS, wicked with cotton.

Using larger coils to get lots of cotton and making sure the cotton doesn't touch the o-ring has made this tank fairly trustworthy for me. Rayon may have different rules. With 70VG juice I only keep the juice control ¼ open. This is still a new tank for me, so I have lots more to learn. Just thought I'd post my experiences so far.

Air sucks in around the air control ring. It's not completely sealed.

The wick must fill the slots if your having leaking issues. What coil and wick are you using.

Does it flood the deck then fill the bottom reservoir. or weep through the outside seals and seem to seep out the air ring. Where does the juice go.

Are you possibly missing the oring on the air tube where it connects to chimney. Is the top seal in place.

I dont see how it can leak with the juice control closed completely. Maybe set it up full with jc closed see if it leaks after a day or so. If it does I'd say there is a problem with it.

Already stated the slots are full, and that ive checked and even replaced the chimney oring

Even after changing the chimney seal and doing the vaccum test you can hear air leaking into it

If i vape it, i get half a dozen toots and then juice everywhere

I guess this will be yet another tank getting a return....

So far in the last 4 months ive returned:

* 1 Crown Tank - never worked - bad coils that would last 3 days if lucky/terrible RBA
* 1 Kaees Landmark - leaked like a sieve - jfc ring immoveable without pliers, sharp edge that opened my finger up

Dear Vape Gear Manufacturers, please make gear that people can open the box and use that meet your claims.

Emailed my friend who has a collection of Lemo 2's (my main tank) to buy one of his spares, at least they actually work reliably.....mine had never leaked or had a bad day in its life, since the day i bought it when it was released.

So reliable tanks can be made...

I've had similar issues as you, leaking even with everything closed! Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it leaks all over! Even if it doesn't leak, after a couple days there's always some juice around the bottom ring and on the mod.

Lately what happens is that I would wick it, make sure everything is nice and tight, fill it just a bit, vape it and make sure everything is working, then fill it again half way, all of sudden leaking starts! What I've done when filling it is close the JFC, fill it, flip it upside down then open the JFC, seems to fix the problem, I think.

I'm with you on the Lemo2, been using mine for a year now, it never lets me down, it's the only tank I still use on a daily basis.

I received mine today. The o-rings required a lot of soaking with soap and vinegar before they stopped fouling up my juice. Thankfully, I had this thread to keep me mindful of not losing the inner chimney o-ring. Also, the clear o-ring that the glass sits on was glued to the glass.

I swapped the pre-installed coil out for the nickel and lowered it until it was almost touching the base. I'm a MTLer so I had to shut the AFC down to almost nothing and swap the drip tip out, but damn the flavor and TH are good. It was definitely worth the hassle.

Here are some photos of the nano.

Excellent atomiser and well worth the money. Machining is excellent and the overall quality is top notch; this coming from a user of various higher end Golden Greek products and a Hurricane.

The top fill works like a charm and is one of the best solutions I've ever tried. The MTL conversion kit has 2 screws as you can see in the photos. It is really useful as the bachelor is originally too airy for a MTL vaper like myself.

Most importantly the flavour is really good. I think this is attributed to 2 facts. The small chamber and that this is a 2ml tank, which means the coil is much closer to the mouth. These 2 features are what I disliked about the excellent otherwise Hurricane, which has is why it probably lacks in flavour.

I'm patiently waiting to receive my Theorem RTA. I believe these 2 tanks will be my favourite from now on.

just for sheets and giggles i decided to twist two strands of 26g ti wire into a 3.5 mm id coil. i twisted by hand but was able to get it pretty tight. i ended up with 8 wraps and wicked as usual. my oh my does this thing make some nice dense vapor or what?!! i'm not sure what i'm doing right, but i make sure the juice slots are filled with my cotton and i haven't had a single drop leak in my last several builds with the juice wide open. i may have to buy another of these great tanks - maybe a nano.

Stock coil is a behemoth. Your probably not feeding it near enough power to get it vaporizing well. Need at least 40-50w imo. Also the stock coil is mounted very high in the chamber, moving it down a little may help.

Not sure how it can leak with 4mm of cotton stuffed into it and juice control... Maybe you lost the chamber seal... Wicking, you pull the wick through and cut it off flush, shouldn't be difficult.

I can manage the leaking by improving my wicking
but still get this tank just as subtank mini, eliquid tasted just sweetness instead of its flavor, because I always got some eliquid went to my tongue

how to manage this spitting problem ?
I can not fix the spitting problem on STM, I am afraid having the same thing on this bachelor

How tight does your wick fit in your coil and do you use a very thin juice, is there any way you can drop your coil down lower to the deck?

I put the wick pretty thick
stock coil gave me spits

I'm wondering what kind of problems it causes when you don't have the lower clear seal in the base under the glass, or if it just holds the tank from spinning.

Yep, to wick interfering with the oring seal.

Maybe using high pg, or the wick is not placed right.

I normally use 100vg and put some 50/50 in it that's like water compared to my normal juice... It flooded out after a few draws, think I had jc open all the way too. So never flooded with VG, flooded with 50/50 cause my wicks set up for vg. Sometimes user error is to blame sometimes the manufacture actually made a mistake.

I believe the solution to your problem is put in a smaller coil and higher gauge..

Don't fall for big giant full stapled Claptons unless your a massive lung hitting behemoth.

Put a smaller coil in, your not vaporizing the juice fast enough for your vaping style.

also, how the hell do you get the tank apart for its initial cleaning? lol

my top cap is pretty stiff, i can't see it opening by accident. as for dis-assembly grab that bottom ring and unscrew the deck housing from the chimney. the glass will be free then for cleaning.
