The hinge is fine. The locking mechanism is poor in my opinion. Needs a vape band if you plan to pocket it.

Or a side-by-side mod

I haven't had any problems with the Nano so far, but I must admit I see the full size version as my relaxing-at-home-tank. Partly because of the hinging top but also because it sits freaking high on my mod! It tips over much quicker then with the Toptank for example.

That's funny, both orders I got from E-wolk came from within the country and I had to send my Bachelor to Oosterbeek when returning it to exchange the first one I got

Maybe he moved all of his operations to The Netherlands but his webshop address used to be in Germany. He was ratted out by a Dutch webshop because he was selling liquids with nic in it in bottles larger than 10ml and he posted the stuff in The Netherlands. The klapjosti's who enforce the AmVB paid him a visit and fined him.

I was thinking it would be cool if they could do a cap like this that had a spring-loaded pin and a small flange on the bottom of the cap that would fit down into the body of the tank. It could be opened by pulling up on the cap maybe 1mm and then swinging it open. Upon closing, the cap would automatically snap back down into place. I'm not an engineer, so I don't know how feasible something like this would be, it was just a thought that popped into my mind.

Ah, that explains it!

I was planning to order a bottle of the Glass juice he was selling but when I was ready to place my order it said that it couldn't be send within NL all of a sudden.

But I found out I'm PG sensitive since then and started DIYing out of pure necessity so it doesn't really matter anymore now.

Should I delete some info from my previous post you think? I don't want him to get in trouble for selling larger tanks because of me...

As far as I know e-wolk is a dutch company, but have a business adress in germany to avoid stupid dutch laws. Hence they could sell tanks bigger than 2ml.
It won't matter for much longer as the entire EU will be victim of these flaws soonish.

On topic: just ordered me a SS and black bachelor nano, they seem to be a nice fit to the mini-ecig xvo/y line.
Looking forward to them!

Where did you buy them @drugarth?

I don't think I've seen the black one for sale anywhere yet.

Hehe yea seems the dutch are out in force in this thread :)

I bougth them at 3avape, they were the cheapest, both for about $42. Black one was indeed a pre-order, but strangely with a date in the past. We'll see when they get here, I'm in no hurry :)

That is a pretty good price indeed, I paid about the same incl. shipping for just one regular Bachelor.

But I wasn't as patient as you :)

Anyone having problems with the jfc becoming really easy to turn? My 2 are fine. My wife's has become loose.
The JFC on my full sized is crazy stiff. It's a little easier to adjust on the nano but it's still very firm. There seems to be quite a lot of variation in these things.

The one on my Nano is stiffer then on the full size Bachelor I returned, so yeah, it's completely random I'd say.

edit: I forgot to mention that the copper 510 pin on the Nano wouldn't connect to my Evic neither without shimming it,

I'm having the same problem with my recently purchased Bachelor Nano, the copper 510 pin is 0.5-1.5mm shorter than all my other tanks (8 of them) and refuses to be accepted by my Cuboid (no atomiser found), and gives incorrect ohm reading on my iStick 30w.

I pulled out the pin and am now looking for a way to 'shim' as you said, or put something in between the base and the pin, I was thinking a small wad of aluminium foil? Is this a good idea and how did you shim yours?

Many thanks,
Dino.

I cut a tiny bit off a piece of copper installation wire, flattened it with a hammer and put it in the hole of the 510 pin on the Bachelor before inserting the pin back in the Bachelor's 510 connection.

I guess aluminum foil will work too if that's all you got but I wanted to make sure I used something that would in no way affect the resistance so decided to stick to the same material that is already used in the Bachelor.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up using a pin from a broken subtank mini base which I cut about 5mm off and smoothed the cut end as best I could, seems to work very well. Initially I did try the alum foil but I was worried it may 'slide' into the airflow control assembly because if you notice under the 510 pin and rubber insulator there is a gap which leads right inside the AFC.

Absolutely appalled with tech 'support' from ehpro. They claim their 4.2mm 510 connector is 'industry standard' despite the fact it cannot make a connection with all of my mods (cuboid, istick, ego one) and despite the fact that I have 8 other tanks with 4.8mm-5.5mm 510 connector lengths, including their own Nixon v.2!!. They were very quick to shift blame to the Cuboid saying it's 510 is too deep.. yet works perfectly with every other tank I throw at it.

Disgusted with this company which refuses to accept they made a mistake and issue longer 510 pins.

Off topic, but is that a ZT0450cf or 0452cf? I'm edc'ing an 0909 today. :thumb:

It's the big one, the 50 has a black coated blade ;)

Meh, I panicked a little at first, but in the end it's an easy fix. You put in a little more work in to it then I did though, good job on getting her going. Enjoy the flavor

So my replacement Bachelor arrived and again it comes with no spare o-rings for around the bottom part above and below the set-screws.

As far as clear o-rings it came with a spare one that goes on the bottom of the glass and two for inside the chimney, my Nano came with one for the chimney and a thinner one to go around the bottom part near the set-screws.

Do all Bachelors come with just two for in the chimney and no spares for the base or did Ewolk get an enitre badge with mixed up spare parts perhaps?

Got my Nano over the weekend and wrapped my first-ever coil in SS 316L (26 gauge, I think), 3.5mm, 7/8 spaced wraps which came in somewhere around .8 ohms (forgot exactly). Installing it caused me to realize just how badly I need glasses (or a magnifying glass) for stuff like this. LOL! Pulling the rayon through a spaced coil was a little harder than I thought it would be but I got the Nano rocking. Only had some leaking at initial fill up, but now it's fine (JFC is wide open).

This thing is so FREAKIN' adorable!!! Got it on my iStick 30W for now, but I'm thinking it will be perfect for my Pico (wish I could find some o-rings for the Nano to match the pink Pico). Still haven't gotten around to trying out TC, but now I can play with it. :D
