Take out the afc screw then use a flashlight and make sure the hole in the center post hole lines up with the afc screw hole. As other's have said, make sure they no plastic shavings in the center pole. Blow through the air hole on the deck where the coil sits and a few pieces should come out of the afc screw hole or air intake hole.

So, I have the EHPRO kayfun 3.1 ES clone from Eciggity, and a silly question...

How do you remove the bottom piece, where the 510 connection goes (apparently it's a catch cup of some sort)? Does it just unscrew, or do I need to remove the center pin out of the 510 connector first? I've tried unscrewing it but it isn't budging...

Yes take the center pos post off first

I purchased an Ehpro Kayfun Lite Clone from Eciggity 3 days ago and it will arrive today. Can't wait to get it. I will let you know how it works and if it has the screw problems and/or the plugged air hole. I paid $49.99 and about $7.00 for 2 day air from Hawaii.

PS: I purchased one of these from ChinaBuye but after 7 days I cancelled the order and they did give me a full refund. They said 3 to 5 days to ship. I personally don't think that ChinaBuye has any in stock. JMO

OK. I received my Ehpro Kayfun Lite Clone from Eciggity today, built it with a micro coil using Rip Trippers video as a guide, and it vapes Awesome. 1.6 ohm coil and tons of vapor and flavor. Vapor is not to hot or to cold. It is just right as is the air flow. I to had the airway blocked somewhat. But all I did is suck on the main deck and the junk inside came right out after I soaked it for 15 minutes. The mouth piece has a very small hole, so I put on another drip tip with a bigger hole and it works perfectly. The only problem I had with mine was the plastic tank part has really bad threads. I had to work at it for awhile to get it to screw onto my device properly. But once I did, it vapes like a champ. Now I know why this unit is the best like rebuildable on the planet.... For the price, I can live with the threads on the plastic tank part. Everything else works perfectly. I received that same box and extras as thomasjames did in this thread, post #9.

If you are interested, here is a link to Rip Trippers video on how to build 2 different micro coils for the Kayfun Lite. Enjoy :)

Anyone else have problems with shorts on theirs? My 2 kayfun lites work fine but this clone keeps reading 9 ohms when I meter it. Funny thing is that it vapes fine, just like a 1 ohm should vape but reads 9 ohms. I can't figure it out

So as it turns out, I. Am just an idiot. My new ohm meter reads to 1000th when it is sub ohms. So I was getting a 911 which I was thinking was 9.1 ohms when it was actually 0.9 ohms. It wasn't until I put it on my Provari and it read 0.9 that it finally hit me.

Haven't built one yet. Just got my first 91%. But incidental contact with the deck seems to be a concern. I see no mention of the issue of deck shorts yet on this thread. But it's easy to occur from sideways and/ordownward stress from the wicking media if your coil is relatively flexible and not yet well burned in. Seems a good idea to take pic's of your build. All directions. Especially the first few on a device. Helps in visualizing where the design/structural issue might be.

Good luck and let us know!

:)

p.s. LOL. Never mind. Your reply came in as I was typing. Congratz. No worries. We all go daft.

You sure the eciggity clone is Ehpro? The top cap looks beveled and i know the Ehpro clone is flat.

That's my understanding as well. The tobeco clone has a cambered top like the original and the ehpro has a sharp edge top. I have the ehpro version coming from vapor break and the tobeco on restock from fasttech. They both have some good prices if you're prepared to wait on the slow boat from china lol. I'm well set with three 804's but I still have to make myself be patient. :vapor:

Sharp looking rig! What's your setup and how's it vaping for you? Also, why the little ring toward the bottom of the mod? Not that it take's away all that much, it's still looking good.

That's the locking ring on the Nemesis. Nice looking setup there.

I had flooding for a while until I got my wicking right. Try using enough wick so that the slots to the side of the deck are mostly filled with the wick just touching the base but not blocking the holes. Even so I sometime get gurgling which you can fix by blowing all the excess liquid through the air hole.

I have also had flooding when filling from the top and putting too much liquid in. Leaving a bit of space or filling correctly through the fill hole fixes this.

Last thing I can think of would be a missing or bad o-ring - any break in the seal could cause flooding. Easy way to check is to block the air hole with your finger and suck hard.
