rounding third and heading home...
You sure the eciggity clone is Ehpro? The top cap looks beveled and i know the Ehpro clone is flat.
it is an ehpro- they just use the pictures of the real kayfun instead of posting actual pictures of the clone . the ehpro is pretty darn good. the only better clone is the hcigar but they only do the 3.1 and not the lite. too bad, because their 3.1 clone is perfect and i would grab a hcigar lite clone in a second if they made one......
of course, the ehpro is a clone of the lite, not the lite+....no airflow adjustment so you had better like the draw as is or get the 3.1 clone for a little bit more $- it has the airflow adjustment, side refill port, and collection piece below the main deck.....

I got a cheap kayfun clone off ebay for 40 bucks, The box said "together best corporation" or something like that. Machining was pretty spotty on the build deck, had to pull some leftover metal off from the moulding process, but it works just fine. has adjustable airflow. Had to grind down the plastic insulator for the negative connection because it made the negative deck sit something like 1.5mm higher than the positive deck, made it a pain on the builds, but after i sanded it down, it works just fine. I'll probably upgrade to a Russian 91 when I get a little more funds

That would be a tobeco clone

I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the big $ on a Russian so I picked up one of the chrome plated brass clones from Fastech for about $15.

I am somewhat surprised on the build quality. It may not compare with the fine machining of the high end stuff but all the threads are reasonably smooth and the fit and finish is quite good.

Gave me a chance to see if I'd like the real thing or not and something to practice building micro coils on.

After 3 weeks I'm sold on getting the real thing and keeping this as a cheep backup because it does work quite well.

Can anyone do me a favor and tell me what size/pitch the fill screw is on the bottom of these guys? I just ordered one, and am placing an order for replacement screws for all my RBA's (M2's and M1.6's mostly) and would like to pick up some extra fill hole screws too... It would be very much appreciated. Hoping to order today so that my atty and extra screws arrive around the same time.

How did you guys remove the center post screw? Did you just press it down thru the insulator? I'm hesitant to just press it through and possibly tear up the insulator. I ask bc my clone doesn't sit near flush on my provari so i need to sand down the 510 connector (or the center pin screw head) to flush it up better.

So, I have the EHPRO Kayfun 3.1 ES clone from Eciggity, and a silly question...

How do you remove the bottom piece, where the 510 connection goes (apparently it's a catch cup of some sort)? Does it just unscrew, or do I need to remove the center pin out of the 510 connector first? I've tried unscrewing it but it isn't budging...

Anyone have a solution for this? I'm having the same issue.

Issue resolved. Pulled the center pin and filed it down with a metal file. Fit like a charm now.

Ok so here's the deal

Clone on left real KFL on right

Top cap of the clone is a straight edge. Not beveled like the KFL

Don't mind my burnt insulator. Gonna replace it now. I don't know what's up with the screw holes on the side of the terminal blocks, Maybe that will allow some different builds.

The clones oring for the chimney isn't visible. It's captured like a carto tank

Other than those things and the frosted tank opposed to clear its pretty spot on, all the major parts are interchangeable. I have not tried the mallet parts like screws and the terminals or pos pin

All the main body's parts just thread together.

Bustabo,

Where did you find the replacement insulator? I melted mine a day or two ago and it won't fire. I really want to get this device up and running again.

I got it from vaperev.com but I'm sure they could be found cheaper
