I'm not really bragging here since my 'achievement' required so little effort on my part. Maybe to serve as inspiration for a struggling newbie?

Anyway, I just realized today is my switching anniversary. January 15, 2010, is the date I accidentally switched from a pack and a half per day 35-year habit to vaping. Several times in years past I have let the date slip by without remembering it, LOL. (I'm 64yo, gimme a break).

My health has greatly improved. Although that improvement came most notably in the first year without smoking. I recently visited my doctor and she was pleased with the clarity of my lungs, saying it was almost like I'd never been a smoker. Yay!

I shot coffee out of my nose reading this. Back story...I just binge watched 'The Wire' on TV. I read your post wrong... I thought you said "I'm 64, yo". I thought "he's too old to pull off that dialect."

Our stories are remarkably similar. Probably down to spending way too much on hardware in the beginning, Heh!

8 years...thats a achievement. I tip my hat to you...
5 years ago the gear was sketchy when we started vaping with those CE4 clearos and ego sticks so I can't imagine what gear you had to start with and being able to hang on. The new vaper over the last couple years or so has somewhat decent gear to begin with thats much easier to commit to vaping. Still like yesterday remember that first vape off the new kits we bought that changed our lives, it went from weeks to months and now years.
