Thank you. What quantity? How is it packaged?
In the huge metropolis known as Brunswick, Maine, they stock only a 500 foot box, at $14.95. I declined. Too much, I said. Returned home, checked Amazon, e-bay, et alia,
and discovered I could get 5 feet for about $4-5. Neighbor was going to Brunswick a couple of days later. Am now the proud owner of 499.97 feet of rayon. The rest has been used for re-wicking. And... dealing with a local politician.

~ Hey Cheechako: OK, My Mistake! My Apologies to JeremyR! And My Thanks go out to JeremyR for getting the Rayon Evolution/Revolution Going!

I will Clarify! My Direct Thoughts of Trying Rayon were from watching and reading of Cheechako's own Experimentation with Rayon in his Coil Builds! It was following him and his results that finally had me saying Hey I Want Those Results in My Coil Builds too!

And So it Goes!

I believe that @JeremyR was the driving force behind rayon, he found it and started using it.
I merely followed the herd on that one.
Thank yo for the kind words though! :)

Thanks cheechako... And glad you guys like it..!..

Part 2 of the Rayon thread has started with an extensive opening post covering lots of information. Anyone interested, join and ask any questions you have.

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

I meant to pop in and say thanks. I read the opening post yesterday and it's spectacular. The other thread was so long, it was nice to have all of that information condensed in one place. Can't wait until my dripper has to be rewicked! And I might try something a little different the next time I work on my air coils based on that post.

~ OK, Here's the Man that Started it! Thanks Jeremy! I wasn't on the Rayon Thread. I believe it was on the first part of the GS Air Fan Thread were I saw Rayon first being used. I must have come in on the thread Late missed where you posted!??

I've had quite the good experience rebuilding with Rayon! Better Wicking! No Burning! But it is a little more finicky then cotton! You need to use just the right amount which is less then you think! But you need to get enough in the coil it's self it doesn't swell like cotton. I see the difference in all my builds but where I see it More in Your Face is with the builds on my Drippers!

Again, Thanks Jeremy for bringing to us and getting us started playing with Rayon!

No worries skully, it spreads by word of mouth mostly, so someones gotta tell someone else. Cheech shared his experiences and it convinced you to try it. Without people like him sharing their experiences around the community; you wouldn't have had the opportunity to try it. :)

Glad its working well for you!

Actually, and sorry JeremyR, it was no one in this thread or even in this forum that got me started using rayon. The folks at my local b&m did. And they knew nothing about ecf until I signed into my account here about a month ago. I learned coil building by building pro tank coils about a year ago. I'll give Cheech the credit for the GS Air coils though but my coil building belongs to some great folks over in the Nicoticket forum. Anyway, I went to the b&m looking to see what they had to wick with and they introduced me to the rayon you can buy at Sally's. End of story...:)

Ok, I think I'm ready to try some rayon. Where should I buy?

Canno, I got mine from Sally's Beauty Supply.

I just looked at Sally's online store. $1.99 for 10 feet. Thanks guys and gals.

It's a 1.45 not far from here at Sally :) back when rayon all started I rode over there on my chopper, when i got there I did what i always do when I park it somewhere take off the skid lid and sun glasses unsnap the vest then take a quick look around for peeps that look like they might have sticky fingers then go in.Well while I was doing all that I saw the guy in the store go in the back room through a door,so I'm in there looking for the stuff and nobody came out so i kind of loudly said HELLO and I hear a very feminine male voice ask what I wanted through the peg board wall, well this went on for a good 5 min talking through the wall  about then girl that worked with dude came back from lunch saw me looking around and ask if I had been helped I said yeah through that talking wall there, with that she yells for the dude to get out here and show me where it's at :laugh:He did and acted scared to death the whole time,to this day I still wonder about that deal :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::smokie:

Oh boy. All this talk...I am getting serious cold feet. Heck...I don't even have a clue how to coil a coil..or how many times, or well....anything. I guess I'll just have to keep trying to find a non-clone GS Air in the 7 boxes I now have (it's not looking good) that works...and pray that at least the Aspire BVCs I have will continue to work in the Cero tank (I'm getting jaded with this tank thing FAST). I have a few Kangers...but everyone seems to bash Kanger. Sheesh. Wonder what will happen next? I have to give up vaping? And replace it with what? They say you have replace a habit in order to quit it. It's not looking good. I hope things will turn around soon. I simply cannot go down to 1.2 ohm. I just can't. So sad now. Today I've wasted trying and trying to find a good coil. Fighting tooth and nail...and it's just not workin'. :tumble:
