Thank you so much! Several people have mentioned to me now that I don't look "old enough" to be a grand parent. If this keeps up, I might actually start believing it!
I think the pictures are just deceiving. ;)

    Good morning Airheads. :)
Went to see mommy and little nugget yesterday and both are doing great! Nugget had a little infection when she was born so they kept her a little longer to watch her for a full 48 hours after starting her on a round of antibiotics. She should be heading home with mommy today.

    Gooday airheads. Congrats to lvm.

Question to you experts, when is a coil flooding.

I ask as just taken delivery of a new box of aspire bvc' for the nautilus. First one in and gurglong and spitting. Swapped it out and similar...

So I just cleaned up the chimney, wiped down the atty, blew through airholes and cleaned the bottom hardware.

It's improved no spitting, however it still seems a loose draw and is gurgling and popping. Another coil in the mini is similar but ok.

Looks as if I have hit the dreaded airhead aspire bvc issue....however none of the coils are leaking per say...it's as if the cotton isn't packed tight enough in the coil...

The gs air m is sadly full of 12mg juice and am in 6mg tonight. Bad vape day.

Thoughts from You clever people - how do you define a flooded coil?

It can happen. Sounds like the coils are "flooding" all right...and it's not just Aspires that it happens to! I had a GS Air 1.5 coil do that to me about a week ago. Gurgling, leaking, uber air draw, etc. I was blaming the tank at first, but eventually realized it was a dud coil. As a matter of fact, I had 3 bad coils in that same box! Thus triggering my investigating the possibility of rebuilding my GS air coils myself.

It's really a crap-shoot with blister pack coils, I guess. I have an Aspire BVC in my Cerotank that's still going strong after 3 weeks! I put a new BVC into an Aspire ET-S tank a few days ago...and it was flat tasting from the get-go (but at least not flooding :?:). Frustrating.

sorry, tia ;) no experience here with the aspire coils but i thought we had plenty of people here who left the aspire fold and never looked back.
unless they never found a solution for that problem and therefore are not chiming in? :(
    +1 here.
Had no luck with Aspire. LOVE the GS Air coils. I have VERY few problems with them. The occasional gurgling when the juice level gets a little low, and some spitting here and there, but overall - LOVE them.

I haven't had any gurgling issues with my nautilus mini s since cooler weather arrived, it's only Summer's when it's hot that has been a problem. And never had spitting issues either season. I use 1.6 and 1.8 ohm vertical cotton coils. I'm wondering what juice you're using and if maybe it has some water in it? Have you verified you have authentic aspire coils online? Also wonder if you got some bad coils... I haven't had any of the vertical coils bad, but two boxes of old style 1.5 ohm horizontal coils were horrible, couldn't use them, bad harsh vape. I vape 70pg/30vg juice.

I never tried the vertical Aspires. Gave up on them after I heard about the GS Air tank and haven't looked back. I love my Airs.

Not had a problem with any coils before, verified these online and bought from a shop I have used previously, summer and winter no issues either. Juice wise am using 50/50 that worked just fine in the previous nautilis coils. Think they are just a bad box of coils. Having my first Vape of the day and 5 draws in actually it seems fine on the mini, weird...bit of crackling and minor hint of spitting at start of draw but within usual level...maybe the coil had broken in.

All a tad confusing as thought with the nautilus and gs air I thought these issues were a thing of the past. Fingers crossed it is as i suspect a minor dud box of coils that have the cotton a little loose.

Exactly my limited experience with the gs air coils...all within tolerance level. First time the aspires have gone into unacceptable for me...

Spot on a crap shoot it is, as I just want to avoid rebuilding. The über air description is also particularly accurate, vaping at 15 watts rather than usual 12 watts to control it. Decision made will order mor coils direct from aspire to try and resolve.
