You're absolutely right Cheechako, they had me fooled. The 1.5 ohm dual coils have a very fine fiber shiny white silica wick inside the coils, and as you say, cotton around the coil can to wick to the silica. I had only looked at it from the top before, but just took one apart. Even flame tested it, she doesn't burn, lol. I've taken several of the 1.2 ohm vertical coils apart, so I'm sure they are all cotton wrapped around the outside of the coil. My Nautilus Mini vertical cotton coils are all cotton as well.
What do you wick with when you rewick those tiny GS Coils?

I think most of us use rayon :)

I am having pretty good luck with the temperature control coils. Flavor is maybe a tad better than the regular coils and the juice is staying clearer (less darkening) longer.
I agree. Like 'em. Still running my first one -- since 9/25. Just vaped it almost dry and changed flavors today.

Rayon man through and through! Tried Japanese cotton, and everything in between...still with rayon. ;)

Rayon???? The stuff they use for fabrics, like shirts??? Not me, I'm sticking with cotton! It's all natural like my um, shirts. lol :D
