why not adjust the voltage/wattage down? i have not lowered my nic intake by much and maybe i'm doing it wrong but when a tank provides more of a hit than i want i adjust the power instead of the nic level.

Now that is a really good idea...plenty of options...am sure by any combination a. Voltage/wattage b. Mixing down and c. vaping less I can get through the 12mg batch in the new RTA and rda's.

As you mention it I currently tend to adjust up or down on various tanks to achieve this anyways so yes thank you.

Guess am a bit anxious bout it all as first time building my own coils, made some investment in tanks, tools, wire, wick and juice.

I wish I could... "Harsher TH" is a bit subjective. I like the dual 1.5Ω coils a little better, the single 1.2Ω vertical ones are maybe a little "airier"? But harsh? I don't know.

You really have to try both for yourself. They are quite inexpensive.

Yes I think especially for the rda's the 12mg will be too high. Might be ok on the kayfun providing I don't chain vape.

Going to have to cut the 12mg down with some pg and vg, fortunately I bought with extra extract so some flavour will remain!

Just one question - the snapdragon and Freakshow are know more as flavour tanks, rather than cloud tanks, additionally I am building higher resistance and not sub-ohm coils...was kind of hoping this would enable vaping of 9mg if not 12mg...or ought I still expect a subtank nano level of vapour - which I have to admit would be too much in 12mg.

Tibs' suggestion is probably the best here; adjust the power. I have no doubt, if you're a MTL vaper, that you could build those RDAs for 9-12mg e-liquid. But as a new rebuilder, I would suggest you start with the simple solutions, ie power adjustment. As you get more familiar with your new gear, how you like to vape them, the building process, etc, you can fine-tune toward your nirvana vape!

Just got the GS-Tank and I am in love. It feels more solid than the M/MS, has improved AFC, and is quieter.

It looks snazzy on the iStick 30W too.

I am a happy vaper.

I'm still lumping along with the 1.5ohm GS air coils at around 7 to 7.5 watts (depending on the time of day) in my GS Air M. I also use the Aspire BVCs in my Cero. Recently I had one of those Aspire coils last me just over 6 weeks of continuous use (at night) and thought that was amazing!

But I have to toot my Tootle Puffer horn a little now...I just realized (and verified on my calendar) that the GS Air coil I currently have in my GS Air M has been cranking along for 8 weeks now...with no signs of flagging in flavor, or smoothness, or any other degradation of quality. I have been using it all day every day all that time! I have some GS Air coils that Lynn rebuilt for me...but I have only been able to use one (in a GS Air orig. tank) that I have an alternate flavor in that I don't use all that much. It works great, BTW. But, I sure hope I'm not jinxing this...but 8 weeks using 85PG/15VG seems awesome to me! Yes...my menthol juice is clear. I'm so impressed and rather excited! I thought it had lasted around 6 weeks or so. But it's surpassed that. If only ALL of them would do so well, I'd be in vaping Heaven!

WOW! I think you've got the record! I regularly have a few that last over a month with certain juices. I am super satisfied with these tanks and coils. Never got anywhere even CLOSE to that longevity with the Nautilus'.

YEP, Cheech, I would not change a THING. I don't ever want to go back to issues with flooding or leaking or dead coils. I think I could be happy with these for a very long time. I don't even want to know what else is out there.
***The one change I WOULD make -- amp up the juice capacity in the GS Tank to 4 ML. And then don't touch a thing!

Why can't you use the coils? Is there something wrong with them? @Nanny22 and @Jingles Have either of you had a problem with my coils?
