:)
Looks like it's over a grand. When I bought my old Compaq Windows XP computer in 2001, it was around $2000 for a 'builtforyou'.
They've come a long way. It looks like a good price for the newest technology AND our newest cost of living! :)

yepper, I wanted graphics power
the AMD R9 390X is top of the line with 8 gig memory onboard (gamers chip) (2 or3 onboard fans)
the Intel i7 is latest generation and is 'clocked' "K" (3.4ghz to 4.0ghz) (also 8GB memory)
I passed on the solid state hard drive (SSD) $$ was getting crazy
since I am now running a 9yr old 320GB 5400rpm HDD-figured the 2TB 7200rpm would suffice
also has Liquid Cooling which is good for longevity

guess it has a light show it does as per user settings and preferences (customizable lights)
wish they opt'd that out and it would cost less...

Guess I'm not as up on AMD Graphics cards as I thought I was! The 8GB just slid by my eyes! Would dearly love to have a machine like that, but would really not want to have to pay for it! My present one is built more for surfing than gamiing!

yepper, I'm not really up on it either - just did some studying / and what I wanted
it will be the best machine I'VE ever owned
main goal is to DO ALL I want and LAST A Very Very Long Time...
with the liquid cooling and preventative maintenance, hopefully a good long time...

You clean the dust out of it twice a year and it will last you close to ten years, barring any future task/technology that may require an upgrade.

you got it, seldom does electronic gear fail by itself
dust, heat, spillage, dirty power claims many a good piece of equipment...

No longer true! Since they removed the lead from the solder, there are problems with Tin Whiskers! A lot of electronics now have a life span of 3-5 10 years max, then Poof, the Magic smoke comes out and they are dead!
