You should never have to pop a coil out of the package again...for a very long time.Alrighty now, Fran........I have just about the same amount of new coils, plus about 50 of spent coils that are looking to be re-built.
The man does know how to get every penny out of his coils.OHH wow I just have one bad coil....
I only had about a dozen saved when I started. You got your work cut out for you. Git to it girl![]()

I think I got lucky. My VERY first attempt at making a coil. I think it was 5 wraps around a 14 gauge needle. The 400 mesh seems to be working well.
I din't see any "insulator" in the coil. I think I remember hearing some have them some don't.
I bought the 3lb box of Rayon from Sally's.

So? How's the new coil vaping?
Hungh?
Out of all the coils I have disassembled, I saw very few insulators surrounding the coils.
I've never put one back in after removing it either.
Congratulations on your new found ability!
Some coils, rarely, came with insulation material surrounding the coils in the cap.Hungh?
The insulators I was talking about was the plug thingies you sent me Cheech.
Not sure how you could rebuild one without that.
