Well I have a friend who has both the eleaf tanks and the Ego One's. She loves them both but says if she had to pick she'd have to go with the eleaf. Think that's what I will do cause I really don't need to get into any more different coils.

My neighbor (Nancy) is wanting a new device, but does not want to build. Explained to her that unless she learns, she'll be out of luck, but she insists.
If the coils were rebuildable, I'd consider it for her and I'd do them, but it's not a good investment right now!

Morning Airheads! I haven't been around in a while but I'm still loving my GS Airs! Have added a lot more to my collection. :p Haven't rebuilt a coil yet but I just got a toolkit, have all of the supplies, and lots of coils to rebuild. I cheated and picked up a bunch of precoiled 1.5 ohm coils. I did do a Kanger VOCC coil and it worked great. It's really easy with a prebuilt coil and they are super cheap.

I'm having a problem. 2 of my GS Air M's are leaking like crazy. One came apart at the top when I was rinsing it. I'm afraid I might have lost the 0-rings or they need replaced. Does anyone know if you can buy replacements? I really like the flavor from the M and I'd like to save them. They are leaking from the bottom.

    Greetings, Bukket5,

I have had Ms come apart, and put them back together with no leakage, but if you've lost the 0-rings, best to put them aside until you can find replacements. Try taking the tank-all of it- to a good hardware store. Most large ones have a good assortment of 0-rings. If you don't find what you need, definitely save the tanks. You will probably need replacement glass or an afc assembly for another tank at some point.

PS- I recently dropped and broke the glass on an MS. Assuming the parts match, I could boil what's left of it to loosen the adhesive, and strip the tank for an 0-ring, maybe two if there's one on the bottom as well. If you don't find what you need locally, shoot me a private message and I'll mail it/them to you.

I just did a check on one tank and the O-ring is there. I pulled it off and reseated. Put a bit of juice in the tank and it just poured out of the airflow control. Does the O-ring keep it from coming out of the airflow or is it another problem? I have a container with different sized O-rings but they are the thicker black. I might try one and see if it works.

Thank you for the great offer! But it must be something else going on.

I boiled the livin' trump out of that broken Ms, and finally got it apart. There should be 0-rings on both top and bottom, as well as a clear-ish one beneath the threads of the AFC. You need all three.

The only time I've had leakage with the M was when a coil got oversaturated, juice came out the bottom, pooled in the afc base, and eventually came out of the adjustable side slots. I think you may have something else going on.

I sometimes lose feeling in my hands and drop mods, tanks, etc. With both the M and the GS-Tank, impact on pavement has caused the AFC assembly to separate into more than one piece. I've used a vise grip to snap it all back together as a single assembly.

You might want to compare the leaking AFC with one known to be good. If you see any difference, try pressing the parts together.

Also, when you test, be sure you have a new coil firmly installed.

pull the 'base' off and stick your big fat thumb to cover the bottom, suck and see if its air tight

leaking as you say makes me think it is 'flowing' THRU the coil ??? be sure all is well

they all work off a slight vacuum pressure to keep the juice inside the tank
if not sealed it will leak at least resistance spot (coil first)

I think IF the BIG O-rings are leaking, you'd know it (out the side, down the tank)

make sure that lil bugger o-ring is on coil bottom, enuff wick is IN coil, things are tight, always 'lube' parts (never a dry connection)

I could do better but you're just to far away (about as far as you can get from me) :D

good luck and be sure to let us know
    (pictures help too)

    1. Check to insure you have all three O-rings in place, well seated.
    2. Make sure AFC assembly appears to be a snug, 1-piece gizmo.
    3. With a coil installed, let tank sit a few minutes. Remove coil. Look for excess—anything more than a tiny drop—juice in the AFC well.

I checked again and it is pouring out from between the Airflow controller and the base. It's worse than before. It just runs through like water. It started out slowly and I thought the coils were flooding.

It looks like it's time to retire them and I'll have spares if I break a tank. But not too likely since I only have one M left.

I have many of the original GS Airs and lots of the largest GS Air since it's 22 mm so it matches my mods. I think I'll pick up a couple of the cheaper M styled from Fasttech. Just noticed that my other M is starting to leave juice on the bottom now, too.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I think there must've been an O-ring in there and it wore out.*** I looked again and every O-ring is there. I remember that I started having a bit of juice on the bottom of the tank with my very first M.

I just remembered that I have 2 brand new 22mm tanks that I haven't used yet! I've been stocking up on my favorite supplies. :thumb:
