Thanks Nanny! I am used to being a grandma now, so the whole idea of it isn't such a shock like the last time. The first time was my then 18 year old daughter and I kept saying I'm not old enough to be a grandma. This time it's my 26 year old son and reality has set in. My arthritis tells me that I am definitely old enough to be a grandma!

Maybe someone here can help? I asked in the Tootle Puffer thread and they suggested I ask here. I am currently using the GS Air M with the original style 1.5ohm GS air coils. They are the only coils available for my tank that aren't too low ohm for me (I almost never go over 6.5 watts). Anyway, I want to conserve my juice as much as possible for a chain vaper like me. I was wondering...which is the best way to slow down how fast the juice burns up? With the airflow controller wide open? Or with it nearly closed? Or somewhere in between? Please advise. I DIY my juice, but am dismayed with how fast I'm going through juice since moving away from carto tanks. I can't do anything about the dual coils burning up juice (since that is the only coil available to me for the M tank that has an acceptable ohm level). But I got the impression that adjusting the airflow may help a little. Can it? Even a little? Anyone?

I've found that closing it more, you get more flavor and in essence, you probably use more juice. Not sure how much more. The dual coils use up a lot of juice though.

I have the feeling you're going to answer that question for the rest of us.

That makes sense. I saw in another thread (about completely different tanks) that one person seemed to think that the wide open air flow was for "cloud chasers" and was wasteful of juice. I was a little surprised at this..because I thought more air would slow down how much juice actually got burned on the coils. But...I'm a newbie at this and figured that perhaps I was totally mistaken about that. I get plenty of flavor with the AFC wide open because my DIY juice is a quite strong menthol. I just wish I knew for sure which was best. I do get so tired of making juice so much since I got away from carto tanks and started using the clearo type tanks!

Well, my opinion is that your juice is actually getting used by the Dual Coils. I rebuild my coils now and they are singles. I've noticed that I use a little less juice while using the rebuilt coils, but not much. I only change the airflow as needed. Sometimes if I'm not getting enough flavor, I close it more. It constricts the airflow and you get a siphoning effect. Hope this helps a little.:)

I'm hoping that you are able to experiment and find out which is better for conservation of juice @fourthrok,
my first instinct is to agree with IMRs. Please keep us up to date with what you find.
I am also under the impression that the higher the VG percentage, the faster the juice goes. Friends who sub-ohm like high vg, very low watts and say they can go through 15-30 MLs in a DAY. So maybe there are a couple of factors at work, though not for fourthrok, who likes lower temps.
@fourthrok , when you make your juice, what pg/vg do you normally go for?

I think maybe the higher the PG, the faster it'll get eaten up because PG is thinner. The cloud chasers are using very high wattage, so that's where their juice is going, even if it's high VG. :)

I stopped keeping track of how much juice I go through in a day. I would bet it's well over 10mls.
