Eleaf GS Air Fan : Part 2

I hope I can interrupt our music entertainment session here for a minute to ask a question. First...I AM an GS Air coil fan, really! But for some reason I can't get the regular size (2.5ml) type GS Air tank to work right for me. The GS Air M...perfect! Awesome! But when I try putting the same (new) coil that worked great on the "M" minutes ago in the GS Air tank...ugh. Not so good. I've adjusted the airflow with a screw and the air is flowing fine. I carefully washed and dried the GS Air tank days ago, and it should be good to go. But it just doesn't deliver as good a taste. I put that same coil back into a "M" tank and it's golden again. Really flummoxed about this. It doesn't make sense to me. Anyone have any ideas? (luckily the M tank still looks good on my new iTaste VV V3 I just got for stealth vaping in the hospital.) Mostly I use the GS Air tanks on my Eleaf iSticks, though.

Sounds like the Air flow on the GS Air may need more tweaking if your getting great flavor on the 'M. Try and keep fiddling with the Air flow screw until you get the sweet spot and switch the wattage one or two increments lower if it tastes like it's a little foul. Hopefully a little bit of fiddling will do the trick.

Yeah. I really am, too! I'll play with it some more this evening after the husband and I watch the news and have some chili dogs. I'm "breaking in" a new coil now in one of the "M" tanks (seems like the coils always needs a couple of hours to break in...get rid of that slightly "off" taste) and once it's all set I'll try putting it in the regular sized GS Air and see what happens. I'll fiddle with that air flow screw some more too! Thanks!

I liked Gran's idea to use the same drip tip and others suggesting to try to get the same air flow. I will tell you that I wash all my tanks, and have the GS Air, GS MS, GS Tank, and the last one I bought was the GS-M. Now that one, for some reason didn't taste right, so I took it apart again and this time cleaned it more thoroughly, dishwashing liquid, hot water, and wiped with q-tip and paper towels all the metal as best i could, then thoroughly rinsed. That worked for me, and now the flavor's fine. Others suggest soaking in vodka or everclear. I don't have that around the house, but the dishwashing liquid and wiping it down worked anyway.

Don't forget o-rings. Make sure you take any o-rings out when cleaning when you receive any atty. They more often than not can be the culprit of "off" taste - been my experience.

^^^^ This picture isn't too far off from the idea. My daughter is talking about having hay bails for seating. Her fiance's parents live on a farm so that's where they will probably get married. It will be beautiful.
