Everything we get our hands on now is just junk in my opinion, compared to the original items that we've come to love. Sorry to sound harsh, but I think it's fact. We're calling everything, 'throwaway' nowadays (down to expensive TV's)!Just for a change... an ismoka/eleaf/joyetech question:
Background: A couple of months ago, the eleavable empire announced the "organic" cotton wicked 1.2 ohm single coil. Their websites dropped the dual coils, 1.5 ohm,
mystery meat wick and wrapper material, that we had been enjoying. Leaving aside the veracity of the "organic" claim (ho ho ho!) and the general habit of isticks, also ismoka/eleaf inventions, to read these coils at 1.3 ohms, they seem to produce vapor.
Question: Do you find any significant difference in vapor production, flavor, longevity or spirituality when using the newer coils?
I've tried a few. They are ok. I don't find them better than the dual coils regarding flavor. They seem to have a slightly airier draw. Based on a very small sample, they tend to get oversaturated a little more frequently.
What's your experience?

)! I'd say if all of the companies out there (whatever they're selling) would go broke if they would sell something that lasts forever, as we all know. I've even named these 2 coils 'Miracle' coils. Now when they have a name like that, they will have to track down the person who manufactured them and give his or hers hand a swift 'hit' with a hammer.
give his or her hand a swift 'hit' with a hammer.

You got that right!not necessary, imrs! we mostly doing a pretty good job ourselves when it comes to 'upgrading' and replacing stuff that is still working as it was supposed to
and here's the next iphone![]()

Nice! Yep, I have a flip phone from 2005 and still going strong. It's all I need. No texting, no internet. Just good old fashioned, pick it up and talk and be done with it.Gran, to answer your question, and I think there was a question in there, I wouldn't know. I haven't tried the "new and improved" coils yet. I still have the original 1.5's that I rebuild every week or 2 and those suit me just fine. If it ain't broke, I'm not going to try and fix it!
My iPhone is a 5S. It's my very first iPhone. Since both of my kids have iPhones it's a lot easier for us to stay in touch by using the same brand, company as it were. Verizon keeps sending me notices that I'm eligible for an upgrade. Again, if it ain't broke, I ain't fixing it! Lol
I haven't tried the new 1.2 cotton CS Air coils...and to be honest...I'm not looking forward to it. I like the original GS Air coils 1.5 and don't care what mystery meat the wicks are made of because it works, and works really well! Ticks me off all the "new and improved" stuff. But what can we do? Finally find something I like that works and is just right for me..and of COURSE they are going to made them obsolete. Slope headed knuckle draggers!!!Just for a change... an ismoka/eleaf/joyetech question:

Yep, I know that cotton burns up a lot quicker than the silica, so they'll wear out much quicker.I have decided that I prefer the older 1.5 coils. The newer ones. 1.2's, tend to run too hot and have more wicking problems for me. I also don't notice any better flavor on the newer ones. The old ones just work!
I wish there was some way to communicate with Joye/Eleaf/whoever about this that tell them that it's stupid to phase out the 1.5s (if that is what they are doing). I was afraid those 1.2 cotton things were going to run hot. I hate it when coils run hot! And I hate fiddling with stuff that doesn't wick well. Grrrr! Can we make a petition or something? This is the GS Air tank thread...seems like it'd be something to do besides chat.I have decided that I prefer the older 1.5 coils. No...and I don't want to. I have severe arthritis and bad eyesight. I'm an old lady...no interest in coiling. I want to plug and go, baby! lol!!fourthrok, do you rebuild your coils?
