for that we might need @Rossum but i'm not sure how much he can help since that's another evolv fella! the tc mods most of us are using here wouldn't cover the cost of just an evolv chip.

Nope, sorry, not well versed on TI. I have some TI coils for my eVic, but I only use the eVics as backups, like one on the nightstand, one in the car, one on my desk at work. You know, all the normal backup locations.

I know that there is a lot of controversy regarding temperature profiles, resistance curves, etc for various TI alloys. Apparently each alloy is quite different in temp coefficients so there is no one size fits all setting, it all depends on what alloy is in your coil wire. Also was a lot of TI safety concerns. Cant really speak to any of it though.
