And the electrons in direct current always flow from negative to positive so you have to insulate the positive side from any grounding source unless you are usin a positive ground system (not used in battery mods). Ground not to be confused with the Earth ground which has a negative charge that causes lightening current to flow from the Earth to the clouds and not vice versa. Comprende ? :)

WOW I'm impressed Bike, you are the first metal sculptor I have met that had a firm grasp on electronics, even at that very few realize the electron flow is from neg to pos, most think it's the other direction. Kuddos kiddo :vapor:

Thanks but I spent four years as a plant electrical/electronic troubleshooter. A low in gives you a high out :)

Just received mine today with the istick 50w, holy cow at 15-20watt I took a lung hit and it was hard as hell. I've never experienced lung hits before and I don't like it...how do I get mouth to lung? Which watt to use?

First time using istick and gs air. I have only used ego batteries, innokin vv v3 and clearomizers.

Felt like I couldn't breath with the istick and gs air, should I tighten the screw to make less air flow for mouth to lung?

You may find that you might also have to lower your nicotine level, which is what I did. I think that's a plus. :)

Hi Katya,

The ones I ordered from FT are SKU 2095900. They came in two green and white boxes with the eleaf logo on the front. They look genuine to me, but I have yet to use one as the one that came with the GS-Air is doing fine. When I try one I'll let you know what I think of them. They do LOOK genuine, however.

Good to know! Keep us posted, e-pipeman.

Having said that, this would indicate a departure from FT standard practices, which might not be a good thing for those who want to be able to tell the originals from clones.

Yup. I had to go lower my nic level. I was getting woozy on 12 mg/ml, which is my normal strength. Those little things really pack a wallop. :D

Very nice video. Too bad we couldn't hear you voice. :)

Have you tried building a larger ID coil? Didn't you build your first coil on that blue screwdriver, which, if I'm not mistaken, is about 2mm?

Thank you!
I found the blunt nose needle was easier to control than the screwdriver.
I was sure no one wanted to hear another person stammer through a rebuilding video

Well I am kind of disappointed to report that I am having a less than superb experience with one of my GSA coils. I replaced one last night and it seems... off.
Now, having said that, I would be remiss if I didn't also say that this is a coil that I used to test run a juice and rinsed out afterwards, then let dry. What I'm not understanding is that I did that with another coil and had zero problems with it.
This particular coil, though, is producing very little flavor, and if I turn up the heat, it tastes a bit burnt. I only used it for maybe a dozen test hits with a juice that I didn't like, before rinsing it out thoroughly and letting it dry. It's also reading at 1.6 ohms, which I know is normal.
Okay - go!

Good morning. Would you care for some random speculation from an unreliable source?
OK, you shall get it anyhow.
First, it may take longer to dry, as there's not much air flow through those small holes when we aren't sucking air through them. You were likely vaping an e-juice water mixture. Patience is the key, and having damned little of it, I speak from experience.

Thanks for the input, however, this coil has probably been drying for well over a week now, but maybe... we'll see. ;)

First things first: I was obviously wrong. Sorry. How can she let it dry that long without succumbing to the temptation to fiddle with it? !!!!
Next, I have no idea why it's producing little flavor. I'll wait for wiser minds to explain.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :D
I may just have to break down a chuck it in the "f-it" bucket, and start with a brand new, fresh coil.
