Flavor was reduced--less vapor tickling my taste buds, but the flavor was just weak, not deformed.

might be one of the coils that has the inner sheath... I typically found those in official eGrip CS coils, but some have reported them to come with the Air tanks from time to time. that inner sheath totally kills vapor production- take it apart?

I haven't field stripped it. Just tossed it into the little box of goodies for eventual despatch to the Zen Coilmaster.

I don't know; sometimes there's just nothing that works as well at getting the frustration out, as the "F" word. I think it's that hard "ck" sound that really drives the point home.
