Yep... This is a Step that Many People Overlook.
Yep. Trouble with the GS coils is that the shape and the dual coils makes them difficult to rinse out without removing the top. If you go that far, you may as well rebuild the whole thing and put a larger single coil in along with your wick of choice.

Removing the top and wick, then dry burning and rewicking takes just about as long as a thorough rinse that may or not work. Not a whole lot more work, either.

Well, you can't dry burn anything without taking the coil head apart--it's not safe.

I agree that all dual coils (GS and Kanger) are more more difficult to dry burn than singles, but it's doable--for people who don't want to--or can't--rebuild.

It all boils down to personal preferences. Whatever works. :D

Hey...anyone happen to have a coupon code for Sweet-Vapes? I want to now try and M and an MS now and I never buy vape stuff until I've looked for a coupon code.

It is correct that the M and MS take the same coil heads as the original GS Air?
Sweet-Vapes didn't even have a sale for the 4th of July. I kept looking, but NaDa! Evapes.us might be a little cheaper. They have the M and the original Air, but no Ms.

Problem I see is that Many People don't have the Fix'ins to Make a Coil to start with.

I remember this Friend of mine ask me Exactly what She needed to Build Coils for the Subtank Mini She just got. So I started to tell Her as She made a Shopping List.

By the time we got to the End of the List, She smiled at me and handed me the RBA Section for her Subtank Mini. And told me "Here, you take it. I'm fine with just buying OCC Heads when they start to taste Funky.

Took me almost three years to even consider winding my own coils...

Besides, there are plenty of vapers with compromised motor skills and/or poor eyesight; vapers who are not comfortable around electrical circuits; and those with 3 kids, a dog and a full time job... They just want to plug and play--like they used to smoke.

The former, eleafworld.com, is likely. Eleafus.com is possible. Given the failure of both to acknowledge the existence of the M and MS, the credibility of either is suspect.

Hi GranFumador

I had always thought eleafworld.com was iSmoka's official website. (iSmoka being the company and actual manufacturer located in China).

eleafus.com seemed like they just ordered the physical goods and had US distribution rights from eleafworld.com = iSmoka.

Regarding the M and MS, this post seems to clear that up a bit: Eleaf GS Air Fan | Page 100 | E-Cigarette Forum

Cheers

I think the secrecy may have to do with avoiding product liability and protection of reputations.:2c:

Eleafworld is only the name of a distributor or so they themselves claim.

Dear Bikenstein,
For eleaf products we are only one of the distributors in USA we are not the manufacturer. we offer 90 days warranty if you purchase from our website http://eleafus.com .. For Joyetech products we do offer 180 days if you purchase from our website : joyetech.us. there are so many distributors are out there just like us in USA who carry joyetech and eleaf products..what type of device are you looking for? is it eleaf or Joyetech?

If iSmoka no longer exist, why is this still up?

Shenzhen iSmoka Electronics Co., Ltd. - BCC,Mini iKit

Are you sure Mihir Mehta was claiming to represent eleafworld.com (iSmoka). I just got an email from Mihir Mehta and they are using @eleafus.com. In the email body you posted I don't see Mihir Mehta claiming to be iSmoka = eleafworld.com. How I read the email body is Mihir Mehta works at eleafus.com which is a just a US distributor.

Just wondering if you meant to type "Eleafus is only the name of a distributor or so they themselves claim." instead of "Eleafworld is only the name of a distributor or so they themselves claim." Just wondering because if it is the former then things make sense who is who.

Cheers

I hear you. And what I think is Funny is sometimes the Timing of the entire "Let's Learn to Build a Coil" thing.

I saw a Newbie Thread one time where this Older Person was Struggle with Switching. And they were Climbing the Walls.

A Member posted that they should get a RBA and then launched into a 22 Steps breakdown on how to make a Twisted Dual Coil Setup.

I thought to myself... "This person is going thru Traumatic Cigarette withdrawals from a 30 Year PAD+ Habit. And is probably doing Everything they can to Not Kick their Cat right now. And the Answer is to have them Sit Down an Attempt to make a Twisted Wire Dual Coil Setup and then have them try to wick it with Rayon ?"

You are correct that Mihir Mehta works for eleaf.us not eleafworld. Sorry about the error, it was getting late. I had put an email in to eleafworld earlier last night.

Dual coil rebuild in a GS Air M.
dual coil gsa 010 (600x450).jpg
dual coil gsa 008 (600x450).jpg

I made the coils 2mm and 8 wraps to try and get the highest ohm coil possible. Could only get .7 with the 28g. It works but not enough air flow for me. Maybe removing the insulator would help or usin 30g or 32g to make smaller coils. Not worth it. :)

Thanks for the compliments. The cap fits. I was tryin to center the coils up to the juice slots. It vapes with good flavor but the airflow is reduced by the coil size. It will take 25w with no problem but there is not enough air to vape that high.
