Two new colors, with matched Melos... Brushed Stainless and a sexy All Black.

I guess I will have a second Melo after all. :p

I wonder how scratch proof the paint is gonna be on that black one. It'll be awesome if it's anodized though, and I have to agree that it looks smoking hot.

Besides, getting the all black one would mean that I'll have to get a black GMv2 to match lol... or I could just run the other one with the all black Magister I already have.

Dangit... Hanging out here is proving to be quite detrimental for my wallet lol.

On another note, how accurate would you guys say the Ohm reading is on the Pico? I really can't tell by myself because the Pico is the *only* thing I have that reads resistance lol.

I don't know about anybody else, but I find in the Pico if I vape the battery down all the way to the cutoff, it goes as low as 3.1 V. That's a bit low, so in the interest of overall battery life I'm not taking it down the cutoff anymore. Looking instead for 3.2 - 3.3 V.

You should say something about that to eLeaf through their FB or email or something.

Not the eLeaf has the best track record when it comes to firmware upgrades (they actually don't really have a track record at all lol... there's like what, only 3 of their devices out there that can do updates), but heck, I can't imagine that it would be *that* hard to adjust the battery cutoff in code.

Hopefully anyway.

I for one can't wait for the first firmware update to be published because it would mean that we *might* get the ability to run custom firmwares (like the ones for the VTC Mini, Cuboid and the RX200) - the Pico's firmware should be compatible, but the NFirmwareEditor folks need a firmware bin for the Pico to adapt the editor to it.

The GMv2 FINALLY not suffering any incontinence after the umpteenth try with the wicks... though it gives me sorta-dry hits sometimes when I chain vape now.

Next try, slightly less wick tails.

Is it worth all the effort? Looking at just how well it complements the Pico... yep, I guess.

Is that a slider for AFC?

I could see being a very unhappy camper if that stopped up against the battery cap. :p

Yeah it is... and it retains full functionality as the knob on the other side does actually clear the battery cap... if only by a hair.

3.1v shouldn't be any problem. Most hybrid chemistry batteries can be drained down to 2.5v without damage, and even the most sensitive ones should be able to handle 3v.

Thanks. So repeated draining down to say 3V won't shorten the life span? That's not what I've read, but I make no claim that what I've read is authoritative.

That's what the batteries are made for. I'm no expert, but I think you wouldn't notice much difference in total charge cycles between discharging to 3.3 vs 3.1v.

I'm gonna choose to believe your right, and not worry about it. :) Not likely I'd ever notice anyway. More of a theoretical question.

The 'Burgh, PA.
It turns out the battery indicator on the Pico may not be accurate for every brand of battery. The empty light on mine has been flashing all day, but still, I have been vaping it for close to three hours without charging !! I am using the LG HG2.

Are you reasonably certain that your LG-HG2's are authentic???

Counterfeit/Low Grade LG HG2 Test Results
