Anyone have the new white Pico with the bronze/copper trim in hand yet to see how it looks and how the trim holds up?
I got my limitlesa on mine, a slight bit of sanding and good to go!In case anyone hasn't seen the Merlin Mini on the Pico:

Yes, you have to buzz the batt cap slightly with a Dremel or by hand (24mm), but it's an excellent atty IMHO.
Can you post pictures of the modification? And a few more close upsI got my limitlesa on mine, a slight bit of sanding and good to go!

tried reflashing the firmware?well I've had a PICO fail on me...
wife came to me and said: " this stopped working "
it's running an eGo ONE tank (CLR SS 1.1Ω @ 25w 280°) - has been for several months
I play around, nothing, then I put it back into Watts mode, it works great
try another tank, nothing in Temp mode SS
try it in Temp Mode Ni, works fine
wrapped some new SS coils - tried them, nothing in SS Temp Mode
so everything else works just fine - just not the " SS TEMP CONTROL Mode " anymore, it just qwit !
tried reflashing the firmware?
My hunch is reflashing the firmware will be the charm. A possible work around, set up the TCR value for stainless wire in one of the M modes and see if that works. I'm expecting a Pico to hold up to at least a year of continuous use. I'd be delighted with 2 years. I hope people report their pico troubles here so we can figure out how to keep them running in case of government interference.well I've had a PICO fail on me...

It's a $20 mod, grab some spares...My hunch is reflashing the firmware will be the charm. A possible work around, set up the TCR value for stainless wire in one of the M modes and see if that works. In another thread someone worried that most of our screen displays have a limited shelf life, as in 10 years. A possible work round for a dead screen may be the custom firmware that lets us see the device working real time. Can that read the user settings? If so then you could confirm the settings or change them while connected to a PC then lock the settings to insure they don't change. I'm at 30 max watts and 400 degrees and that never changes. The thing you'd lose with no screen is the battery charge indicator so you'd need to be more careful about keeping the mod charged up.
