I'm one of these people who, if I like something, will do it anyway regardless of any potential risks.
There's an element of risk in everything we do. It would be a boring life without risk.
That's why I still smoke tobacco cigarettes as well as the e-cig. I like them both. Of the former, I know the possible risks but the enjoyment outweighs the risks. The latter is, for the most part, an unknown quantity but bypasses the iniquitous smoking ban our government forced on us last year, so risks or no risks I'll carry on e-cigging as well as baccy cigging
If we were to analyse everything we put into our bodies in one form or another, we'd end up dead through stress and worry.
Take that well-known artificial sweetener for example, Aspartame. It's present in nearly every soft drink and commercially produced food, yet the health risks of that are very serious indeed. Just Google Aspartame side-effects and you'll find a list longer than your arm - some very serious risks too, yet people don't think twice about putting that particular nasty poison in their bodies.
Whichever way you look at it, one thing is for certain, one day we are all going to kick the bucket.
Remember:
The only cause of death is by being born!
