Hey guys,

I just got the Eleaf Invoke with the Ello T tank.

Every time I go to unscrew the top and refill the tank, it somehow floods the coil, I get hot liquid in my mouth and liquid leaks out of the airflow holes. I am very careful to ONLY unscrew the top cap too and not the glass.

After holding it upside down and blowing the liquid out, it vapes normally. Why would unscrewing the top, automatically make the coil leak? I've been testing it and literally anytime I unscrew the top, I get flooding. This has never happened to me on previous Eleaf i-just models.

The weird thing is, the first couple of days it did not do this. I could refill the tank and vape with zero leaking all day.

Please let me know if you guys have any ideas on what is the problem.

Here is a picture of the Ello T tank. I'm using the 4ml glass and extension is the only difference.

It’s a problem I’ve had with some tanks. One solution is vape the tank dry before you refill. That way there’s no juice to run out. I’ve got a berserker rta with this issue. My solution is to bottom fill it instead of top filling it. It has a top fill I just don’t use it.

I’m not a user of an Elo T though so this may not be your issue or even possible in your case.

I think the technique is- close airflow, remove top and fill, only partially connect topcap, turn over- finish closing cap and reopen AF while still upside-down.
The new Zenith tank has a liquid-flow cutoff when opening the top to fill, if you are interested. Gl

Thank you...I will definitely try that next.

I did try the bottom fill method of holding the mod upside down and unscrewing the entire glass tank and filling it up that way. No flooding. But kind of sucks having to do that. But thanks bombastinator.

Still makes me wonder WHY it wasn't flooding/leaking the first couple of days I got it.
