Of course there may be some effects we are unaware of. But what I do know personally is as follows. After smoking a pack a day for 12 years and being 43 I USED to hack up a lung every morning when I woke up. I also USED to snore like crazy. And although my blood pressure wasn't dangerously high, it was on the high side. Since quitting smoking in Feb. and vaping I no longer hack up a lung in the mornings or have smokers cough. I hardly ever snore anymore. A month after quitting cigs and vaping I had me blood pressure checked and it was normal. I just had it rechecked again last week, going on 5 months no smoking, and my blood pressure was normal and great. I also feel a lot better and don't get winded like I used to.

I know nothing I tried as far as quitting ever worked. Partly due to the nicotine cravings, and honestly, a part of me, even though I knew it was bad for me and would probably eventually kill me, didn't want to quit. Switching to vaping did the trick. I get the nicotine and the same actions as smoking as far as the physical "addiction". I also enjoy it.

So while I am not a doctor, and would never give advice leading anyone to believe vaping was 100 percent safe, I can go by my own experience. I've read a lot on the matter too and have not come across anything the makes me super concerned or scared to vape. And compared to smoking cigs, it's a no brainer. We know those are going to kill you.

It is a little frustrating though when I hear so many people spout things against ecigs that are not based on any sort of facts at all whatsoever. They're entitled to their own opinion even if ignorant. All we can do is keep supporting the industry and showing the facts. Anything new is always going to be met with suspicion. Funny how if it came from a pharmaceutical company nobody would bat an eye and would pay through the nose.
