Hi Guys,
Recently I have recd. my Kit from Rick at Atmos and am loving it. Here is my experience.
1. WebSite
Very few websites in this business are professionally built with uniform navigation, good usability and customer comfort. AtmosUSA Ecigs certainly is one of them. Seriously, with a great store front and an excellent buzzing community forum and very informative product pages this is easily one of the best, if not the best supplier websites in the business.
2. The Company and the Man
It has been a pleasure to deal with Rick, very responsive to client's needs and he has gone out of the way, even during the weekend to answer questions and ship the product. Not enough can be said about the customer service experience with Atmos and Rick.
3. The Product - Making the decision
After a couple of months of vaping, it was time to make the jump to a good mod. The contenders were many and its daunting to choose one amongst many equals. I wanted my first mod to be simple, needing the bare minimum maintenance and me not being too smart, I did not want to think while vaping. So that ruled out bottom feeders and variable voltage mods
So that left me with the cylindrical battery mods to be looked at and there are several. Since I did not want to wait around for a mod to be available, my choices narrowed down to the Silver bullet and its kins from AltSmoke or the Copper and its kins from Atmos.
Bang for the buck was the next thing I looked at. And this starter kit gave me the most. Being my first mod I had to get the batteries needed with the mod. I also bought the 14500 batteries for 3.7v in addition to 6v option in the kit.
4. The Product - Build quality
Just one look at the product and you KNOW its made in the USA. The battery end-cap and spring welding was one of my concerns when ordering the product, but after looking at the quality of weld, I should have had no cause for concern. The thread machining is very high quality as well. My only concern sill remains the switch, not because of its build quality but because of its method of activation. This product is going to last me a long long time.
The battery chargers are cheesy, but then you get what you pay for and they are cheap and easy to find so its not much of a concern.
The batteries are all Trustfire and I presume they would last as advertised.
5. The Product - Experience
I had my Ego before this mod and that close to 3.7V. But using the Hex at 3.7V on an LR 306 atty is a completely different experience. Very good vapor production, Great Throat hit and I found none to minimal reduction in flavor.
At 6V with the atty that came with the kit, this unit vapes like a tank! Again no noticeable reduction in flavor while tons of vapor and good throat hit. Only gripe is that the batteries drain too quickly. But since the 6V experience is for when I am relaxing on the weekends, I wont mind having to keep charging them all day long.
Getting used to pushing down on the atty to activate the switch is currently getting on my nerves. I find my self reaching for the button and then on realization that there is none pushing with my teeth on the atty. I hope to get used to it soon.
6. Conclusion
Its an unbeatable mod at an unbeatable price. I hope this helps someone considering their first mod to give the Copper a go. I know they wont be disappointed, I wasn't
