Who'd of thought the epipes would be this popular. I mean lining up around the corner in sleeping bags like popular.

The 510 fitting which allows a great amount of freedom coupled with Matt's artistry makes these pipes an option for (previously) non pipe smokers. And thats a lot of ex-smokers who are finally 'getting it'. A pipe just feels good. In the hand, on the draw and to the eye it's much more aesthetically pleasing than any e-cig imo.

Now if I can only get a nice short stem that fits over an eGo-T tank . . . .

That is something Chris and I have been discussing since the T's came out.
Which T do you prefer? A or B?

How would that work. Would you have to drip into the ego-t instead of using the tank. Ive had bad luck with dripping into those but I like them with the tank ok. I get a funny flavor when I drip into mine.

arjay, a short story that backs your point if I may. I work with a fellow in his 50's. He was glad I quit smoking since we share a lease in an office building but when he saw my ego he didnt seem impressed anymore. When I got my Viking epipe I showed it to him and he actually broke a smile and said "well thats more like it". I asked him if he minded if I vape in my section of the office and he was fine with it. Now I puff away at my desk and have not had even one single cigarette since April 1st. Honestly, not sure I could have stuck with it without Matts pipes. Its so ergonomic in the hand and looks "normal" to others. I have a son that just turned 1 and Im glad Matt helped me quit so I can hopefully be with him longer. Im 36 btw.

I was a cig smoker and not a pipe smoker, but I admit I have always liked the idea of pipe smoking. I tried it several times and it didnt agree with me. Didnt like not inhaling and having to light it constantly. So for me the epipe beats a tobacco pipe any day anyhow. My dad has many many pipes.

Matt, I was talking about the 'A's mainly. If you look above somewhere I posted a pick of my Rhodesian with the eGoT 'A' on it and it works well, looks great (to me at least, and thats what counts). A small straight or slightly bent pipe mouthpiece would be good. I have been dropping hints around the place that someone (Joye ?) should manufacture a tank that takes a drip tip so one could customize as they see fit. It really should be achievable and would make the tanks a far better option all round imo.

Hi dirquist

I come from a non smoking family and my wife detests (with a passion) cigarettes. My wife and my mother cannot be in the same room as cigarette smoke as it makes them quite ill. Incense has the same effect. They hated the smell.

I had smoked a pipe in the past and really enjoyed it. But it had a few things going against it as you pointed out. The constant lighting and tamping. The blackened finger. Emptying out the drool. Packing it correctly (which came natural after a while I must admit - but I'm looking at it from a non pipe smokers (or newbie's) opinion. Having to carry around a pouch of tobacco which along with the large volumes of smoke produced made everything you wore smell like a smokehouse. Of course I never noticed it but others sure did. And now I know what it's like. I was sitting in the doctors surgery on Monday and the only other guy there stank of stale tobacco smoke. I mean this guy reeked!

This is my first pipe mod and I have to say...totally not what I expected! With the ego booster and the IMR26500's(VV Heaven!)...these things aren't only classy...they're "all day vape" worthy! I expected this to be a novelty unit, something i'd only whip out to awe people, but I find myself using this everywhere I go...Kudo's to the guys at Epipemods...great work! Btw, I picked up some vinyl online to wrap the booster and cartos...to give it a more fluid look! Now only if someone can come up with a magnetic switch...hmm ;)

Welcome to the Viking Club seanmc. You got to that pipe right before I did. Wanted it bad. You have a beauty there. You sure make it look extra nice set up like that but it came with a pretty amazing stem. Let me know if you want to sell the stem in PM. Either way, you should enjoy that one forever. If you ever do decide to part with it, and it doesnt sound like you will, please PM me :)

Where'd you get the vinyl from? That'd make for a great cigar too!
I got it from Rvinyl.com's ebay site. I purchased a 18"x24" roll for $10 ($13.99 on their website)...its a little thick, but it works great so far! I'm actually going to wrap a carto tank with it to try to make it look less...tanky (haha).

Hey Matt, quick question. Can your Lathe do Stone? There's lots of Huge chunks of Petrified Wood available out here. Not sure if it would be too brittle, but it's worth a shot. I might send you some just to try out.

BTW, Sean, that vinyl was an awesome addition. Good t hear the booster works on the e-pipe. I'm going to HAVE to get one now!

Yeah the pipe is a beauty seanmc, Im glad you like it, use it well! I sure did while I had it. I was going to keep it, but I needed spare cash to get my girlfriend a ring and she is worth it :) No plans for the wedding anytime soon but Im ready for the starter commitment.
I just wish money fell from the sky so I could've kept it. I need to get me a viking custom to get back into the club! I will try after the holiday season. Ive taken a look at the pipes, they look amazing! I was going to buy a second, but decided to bite my teeth and not do it since I have that ring on my gift list. I saw that tai pei fire dragon and was thinking to myself "Ugggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhh dang it!!!" cause I was dying for a dragon. Guess I will just have to wait for when the finances are up.
Im dying of pipe envy/deprivation.

I sold my 89' Yamaha FZR1000 for $2,000 to buy my girl an engagement ring. We have been married for about 5 years now and I have a son that just turned 1. She is wonderful and everything has worked out great. Except for the fact that I look at craigslist for FZR1000's nearly everyday. I would not have done it again lol. Ill miss that bike forever. I hope it works out better for you. Im sure you can replace the pipe much easier :)

Hey Matt, where on the site is the custom you did for Magnus? I've been looking and can't seem to find it...
Side note, somewhat related, how do customs work? Is it just a matter of brainstorming, presenting the idea and you take it from there? Is the cost far beyond a comparable, non-custom? I (along with everyone else on ecf apparently) really love the style of the vikings. I want!

Well put, that's exactly how it felt!

The Custom pipes run the same price as the ones on the site $150-^? It just depends on the wood type, design, and finish that you want.

I think I need a program. What are those 10 step, 12 step. I have no idea, I just know I need one. My pipe is arriving tomorrow according to tracking and lets just say Im not making much money today. Probably wont tomorrow either. Whats wrong with me that I get so dang excited lol. Someone stop me. I mean come on man, I already have two other epipemods, shouldnt the wait for the new one be easy, arghhh!

Oh, and just to show how great the service is here at epipemods, I ordered a DCA306 on Saturday, my epipemod on Tuesday, late in the day. Well my epipe will be here before my DCA even though they told me it would ship monday. Bah Humbug to them, cheers to you Matt.

G'day Matt (and all the rest of you e-pipermodders). I mentioned how good the Shire Malt was on another (Oz) site and it was nice to see a few of the guys are already owners or ordered an e-pipemod, or in fact some of the Pipe Sauce. It was nice to be envied since I already had some, heheh.

Minor problem I'm having with the pipe is contact isn't being made most times when I push button/draw. It seems to me the contact nipple at the base of the pipe may not be high enough to touch the batter due to the wiring. It's really just a borderline thing as sometimes if the battery is in a certain spot it will work.

I tried putting one of those little super magnet thingies on the base of the battery and it works fine. Would this be harming the pipe or battery doing this?

Any ideas on a more permanent fix that either I could accomplish (allowing for the fact my fingers are not connected to the smart part of my brain) or by someone a bit more qualified in electronics? I'd hate to have to send it back to you from Oz for such a tiny problem. Truth be told I don't think I could bare the separation.
