Here's a look at the first hard wired VV pipe->
The Pipe has the new design (which has nothing to do with the VV booster BTW)
It has an 18500 battery with a hard wired eGo booster from Artisan Vaping.
It is set up with an extended carto tank from Alexandru at JazzCartoPipes.
It also has an 8 inch warden stem (coming soon)
overall length of this pipe is 16 1/2 inches!!!

That all depends on the elements of the pipe...
Wood type, 3.7/VV, Shank or shankless, then there are the tanks and stems etc.
I estimate the shankless pipes will start at $100.
those tanks...can we get a few more pics of them? and some more info??/
The tank is made by Romaniac/Alexandru (the maker of the Jazz Carto pipe)
It is roughly 4" long, holds around 10-15mls of fluid and requires special carto's from Romaniac.

If so I often wonder how they work, and I assume you shouldn't use low resistance on it?

An eGo Booster is a VV adapter for eGo batteries or any mod really...
Input voltage can range from 2.5-7V so many devices can use them.
Output Variable Voltage Ranges from 3.2-4.7V.
We are currently working with Artisan Vaping to tweak the booster circuit for our pipes

Thanks, that means allot coming from the Master.
I wonder if the ego booster needs the regulated voltage that the ego battery puts out?
Or can it be plugged into any mod?

The eGo booster does not need the regulated voltage of an eGo.
A couple things though... The boosters themselves will only work with Genuine eGo's.
I believe fakes are PWM'ed or some such nonsense and won't work.
Also Boosters outside of eGo applications are best used with IMR batteries.
Protected/ Lion cells do not have sufficient C ratings and the booster will not receive enough power and simply cut out.
The Boosters themselves can be used on any of our pipes.
Just remember our pipes are wired positive post DOWN in the bowl.
Reversing the battery will cause a short and damage both the booster and the pipe.
Also please note that our pipes are wired positive down for a good reason.
If a battery were to vent it will vent from the positive side.
Putting the positive post down puts your hands and face in less danger.
Interesting, I was just on the artisans site the mpv seems cool also its in the coming soon section.
