Hello everyone,
Longtime lurker here, finally took the time to post some pics (in the new user section) so I could participate in this thread.
I have a couple of Killers on the way, can't wait!, and intend to use one in my Jazz tank on The Sherlock:
2ikffr5.jpg

This is the newer version Jazz tank (with locking bottom ring) -- anyone have any tips/tricks on installing the Killer?
Am I going to need a 510/510 adapter? If so, sealed or unsealed? Maybe it'll be self-explanatory once I have it in hand...
I get the concept of how the Killer works, just not quite sure how it holds @ the bottom of the tank.

With the locking ring nd the way air flow works on the Killer I don't know how it will work. Won't lock the Killer in I don't think. I have another Killer on the way and trying it in one of these tanks is in the plans.

You really need to change the locking ring for the best looks....

I don't see the locking function being the problem since non-flanged cartos work just fine in that tank. Of course, they don't lock, but I haven't found that to be an issue. The trouble with using the Killer is that the top and bottom caps seem to be permanently sealed to the body of the tank, so there is no way to get the killer in there in the first place. If anyone does figure out a way to make it work please do let me know, as I have a Killer en-route from greekvapes and am presently using that tank on my kicked Jazz Cartopipe and I would love to take advantage of the killer on that setup... Um, sorry, is it kosher to post that in this thread?

Alex and I are good friends. There is no competition between us so I do not mind the mention of JazzCartoPipes.com at all.
I thought I had one of those tanks lying around, but I can't find it if I do. If the caps don't come off the it's a no go for the killer.

Edit: found it, caps do not come off, so the locking jazz carto tanks will not work with the killer.

Awesome! I love the attitude/atmosphere here at ECF. I've been a member for months but only recently began posting and I'm glad I did. You guys are very laid back and understanding compared to some other forums I have been a member of.

Oh and Matt, you do some awesome work and I am a huge fan of your pipe sauce juices!

slight changes to the last couple of lines....

THE SONG OF THE PIPE

When the night air is shading 'round you,
And the lake is lying still;
When you hear the evening tuning,
Of the lonely whippoorwill;
When the woods are big and silent,
And the world seems all at rest;
And the cheerful fire is blazing,
Then your good old pipe is best.

When you are tired out from tramping,
Through the winding forest ways;
And you've had your trout and coffee,
And you dream of future days;
When you sit close to the fire,
Then the time is surely ripe;
With the owl's bark resounding,
To fill up the good old pipe.

When the dreary rain is falling,
And the world is wet and gray;
When the loon's long, dismal holler,
Rolls out clear and dies away;
When the woods are all adripping,
From the alder to the grape;
Then just lay back in your chair,
And hit good old pipe, and vape.

Releases are typically every Friday. However there will be no pipes this Friday.
We should have some pipes ready for next Friday though.

We haven't been uploading new pipes to photobucket recently, but it's got a good back catalog.

Maybe not what you would expect but I pulled the mega adapter off one of Matt's short saddle stems and it was a perfect tight fit on this Killer/Tank combo. Won't say it will fit with every tank but works perfect with this set up. The PV is a Bombshell Stinger, Kicked with a 26650 battery and 25mm tank...not a small PV so the large stem fits well and I love the mouth feel of the stem over a round drip tip.

Holy Night stick Batman! 25ml tank you say? Kicked 26650.... So, um that's like 3 days of maintenance free vaping.

I have a Killer 705 coming to use with my new pipe. Also ordered this tank to use with it,

Kazulinho Mods Carto Tank Plano

Gets good reviews on another forum but no idea if it will be good for the killer, does anyone here have it?

I'm thinking pipe+killer+tank+churchwarden= perfect combo!

Going to be stalking the postman until I receive all these goodies! I'm also eyeing up my next pipe, and I haven't received the first yet! :facepalm:

Looks alot like my Boge F16 with a fill hole modification. But with that 7ml capacity I'm leaning more toward theTriple V Pyrex tank. I'm not sure what your tank is made of though so those are just my two best guesses.

It's glass and stainless, fill hole plug looks machine made, not homemade and coming from Hungary I am guessing European maker.

The fill hole is such a huge advantage with the Killer I wouldn't consider putting one in a tank without one now. I ordered a tank from Crazy Vapes http://crazyvapes.com/products-page/tanks/electronic-cigarette-510-tank-stainless-xl-kikit but will have to replace or cut down the huge fill knob.
