The question for Big Juicy is...which one is BOROMIR? I am saying the first one...as opposed to the most excellent rusticated 2nd one.

Everyone I talk to has their eyes on that second pipe. Man I can;t wait to see this all go down tomorrow!!!

So...Matt...which one is BOROMIR?

Maybe it's the one full of holes.. :D

LOL. Well played, sir.

As we all know that is a dwarf. Clearly a dwarf slain with many arrows in the last great battle of Moria prior to the arrival of the Nine Walkers. Balin, son of Fundin, Lord of Moria

"Balin was one of the twelve companions of Thorin Oakenshield and Bilbo Baggins on the Quest of Erebor. He wears a scarlet hood. He was the son of Fundin and elder brother of Dwalin. Many years after the death of Smaug, Balin led an expedition to recolonise Khazad-dûm, where he found Durin's Axe. Although the colony began well, Balin was slain after only a few years, shot by Orcs on November 5, 2994, as he looked into Kheled-zâram. Thirty years later his tomb and the Book of Mazarbul that told of his expedition and death were discovered by the Fellowship of the Ring.

If you ever plan on buying a pipe, then I'd buy the 8" right now.

I did, I got every accessory they had pretty much, but waited on the shorter pipe stems incase I wanted to match it with the pipe...guess I will have 2 orders tomorrow. Because if I get the pipe I want it's checking out in seconds!

Hey Matt,

Just wondering why you don't allow us to choose a button style. I just got my flat button todday and I think its great. Pipes look wonderful this week!!

I am sure it's just to keep things simple, and it's good as a backup button. I got a flat button and I don't even have a pipe...lol.

Boromir is the First pipe pictured.

We do not allow you to choose your pipe button at the moment because of inventory issues.
Once we are able to keep every option in stock without running out, we will make all button styles optional.
I hope we can get to that point soon. Buttons are expensive though and have to be outsourced and machined.
In order to keep enough inventory for all styles in stock at all times is a huge investment for us and commitment for the machinist.

BOROMIR, son of Denethor, last ruling Steward of Gondor...Captain-General and High Warden of the White Tower. Man, I fear the price tag on that one...and my own weak will.

The Calabash is absolutely beautiful. An ALL TIME EPM to date if you ask me, and I have spent more hours than I care to share researching every existing EPM photo ever. Just beautiful and the olivewood is a fine, fine choice. BEAUTIFUL.

...the larger pipes feel nice when holding them...this might be my new fave for around the house...

I agree. After having the new dragon for about two weeks it has given me a new appreciation for EPM's. These (big battery pipes) are definitely a must have in anyone's collection.

I am puffing the obelisk dragon...aka BONZO...aka The Tree...right now and am beginning to agree with you. Photos later tonight of my #2 purchase from last week.

That reminds me ... Matt, is Boromir a 18500 Biggie or a 18350?
