What material is the red pipe made out of? They both look fantastic

Hmm... My Nacirema deduction tells me that it's the blood of a Red Dragon upon crystallization... It could also be acrylic

This Holiday Season, the gate to middle earth will be opened once more.
Many things will happen, and the Dragon will be awakened.

The new Dragon will carry an 18500 battery. It's about half the size of the earlier incarnations.
Instead of being a bottom feeder, it will be balanced to stand with most any tank and stem set up.

I'm beginning to learn the joys of customizing my own stems.
I've been trying make one with a twisted style base, but they always end up warped.
Something on my e-pipe to do list

Anyways, when do you plan on releasing the dragon?

That is a good question...
The tentative release date will be Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving).
If things are going well and production can keep up it may be sooner.
There is a TON of new stuff that we are working on for Christmas release, so we'll just have to see how it goes

Dear Santa,
I've been real good this year.
I played nice with the other kids and shared my ball on the playground.
I did all my chores and helped a little old lady across the street.
I even quit cursing....well, ok. I cursed less
I also had my one year vapaversary...have I been good enough for a new pipe under the tree?

Matt recommends that you always use the adapter. That said, I use them all the time without the adapter. Tolerances vary though. Some fit great without the adapter and some are a little too big or small. If it is too big you can always sand it down a little. If it is too small and you have skills you could put a groove in it and add an o'ring. But basically they are meant to use with the adapter.

Hi... I'm saving up for an epipe of my own, probably one of the new dragons if I'm lucky. Anyway, I'm trying to keep costs down so I made my own 510 mouthpiece. All I need now is an epipe.

@Thatick: Here is what I did using a cigarette filter that I bought for about $7. I cut an old 510 driptip and shaped it to fit snugly inside the metal holder:



I bought this kind of cigarette filter. There are two screwable mouthpieces. One about 2 inches, the other about 5 inches. They both screw in the metal holder where I fit the old driptip in.


And here is the stem attached to a cartomizer (I'm holding the screw end of the carto)

Also the Website will be undergoing a HUGE makeover. This will help us to accommodate all of the new designs and materials.

Any hints as to how much the new Dragon 18500 pipes will be sold? I can barely afford one regular pipe, so I want to make sure I choose right lol.
