Howdy, all. Newb here from Ohio, originally from Flagstaff. I received my olive wood rhodesian this week and I am loving it. I smoked a pipe for over a decade and I loved it. I never thought of laying it down, really. Thing is, I am in nursing school and, well, health care and smoking go together like grapes and sea urchins. After a couple of days with the pipe I was able to tell my girlfriend "Yeah, I'm done. I don't need to go back because of this pipe." vaping the pipe - a real, honest, solid handmade wooden pipe, makes me feel good in a way that sucking on my ego-clone sonic screwdriver never would. With the pipe, vaping is an alternative to smoking rather than a weak substitute.

What I am trying to say is thanks to Matt, I can do what I have to do (taper off and eventually enjoy 0 nic vaping) without feeling deprived or let down. He is actually providing a product that helps people and I appreciate that.

Now if only the vapemail would hurry up and bring me my ego boosters and the other accessories that I am gathering, I'd be set! I am practically drumming my fingers waiting for the big battery Gandalfs to come online!

Definitely stick around in this thread. There are a ton of knowledgable and incredibly helpful people around these parts. Some might even be a little funny!

Just a quick tip, make sure you're putting your battery in positive side down. If it's the other way I've heard it can fry an ego booster.

Welcome Ta200z and Curse. Curse ... I was the same way. I saw friends with Blus and Egos and ... I just couldn't. Heck I couldn't even deal with cigarettes. But epipes? Not a cigar nor pipe since. I do use some tube mods as well but ... no wimpy batteries and nothing that looks like it needs a filter.

Thanks! I will definitely post some pics when it has something to wear. Right now it is just wearing one of those disposable mini-clearos in the beginner's kit. I kind of went nuts with accessories. I await delivery of the following: a protank 2, an aerotank, a separate aerotank base for the protank 2, a nice phiniac tank glass, 2 ego boosters (cause there will be at least 2 pipes), a 901 coilless lr dripping atty and drip shield from Empire Mods and some spare lr protank coils. I tend to go a little nuts on a new enthusiasm.

The pipe is what officially got me off of cigs. After vaping a pipe so long I can actually use a tube now but the tube would never have initially got me completely off the cigs. Still vape my pipes most of the day but use the tubes when Im going somewhere Im afraid to bring my beautiful pipe.

I've found a way to better accommodate the needs of both ePipeMods and SteamCigs. We are currently developing our own dedicated forum. I will still post here on ECF, however it may be more infrequently given the task of the new forum. There will still be weekly updates and previews here. l will PM everyone with the info on the new forum once it has been ironed out.

He's got an entire photobucket of pretty much every pipe he ever made. Something like 1500 pictures. I don't have the patience to handle that much content so I'll leave it up to whatever deranged soul volunteers to be the Curator.
