Got the Flaired Dublin and CW stem today; smaller than I pictured. Also ordered a fancy saddle stem, the fuses just in case, and a flat top button today before the pipe arrived. Although the dome button is just fine it's too late now. I had to pop a low res IO6 atty on there since the dual coil tank didn't want to play nice. I have some 2 ohm single coil tank cartos comin' so I'll really be stylin'. As soon as I get all the bit n' pieces in and firm things up I'll post a pic r' two. I still think I would have prefered a full bent shank but jumped the gun as soon as I saw that there were pipes available. I'm hopin' one day all you jokers will get yer fill of these pipes, and I'll be able to pick and choose in a more liesurely manner.

V2 is a one piece bowl were the battery is held in by a magnet in the bottom. The V1 is a two piece bowl where the battery is held in by a top ring thats held on by magnets. The V1s are a little bigger and have the ability to use the 16340 battery as well as the 18350 both button top and flat top. The V2 is only recommended to use the flat top 18350..

Just to add to that, I use the AW button top 18350 as they are exactly the same size as a flat top 18350. Any other 18350 button tops are too tall though.

Yup, thats Penelope Jet and they are amazing. I warn you that you may never want to use a carto ever again. I know I dont. Those are on presale right now and are due to ship to people today and tomorrow. I think there are still some left so now would be a good chance to go get one at the Clouds of Vapor site. Perhaps you will get another chance down the road but who knows.

I hear nothing but good things about those Penelopes. Do the universal pipe stems work on them?

Unfortunately no. You use it exactly the way you see it. No drip tips or pipe stems so I can see how that may be a deal breaker. Someone who is industrious may find a way however, but thats not me lol.

I would love to get my hands on the Penelope as I would be able to use it on my Pipe as well as on the Provari, since it looks great on either, I have a problem with COV. I had the same issue when I had my SSGGTS. The replacement parts etc come in fits and bursts, and being in Canada, it is not always feasible to ship one or two things at a time with international shipping not being cheap.

It is one of the main reasons that I've been holding off the Penelope or the Odysseus for that matter.

COV carries some nice stuff, but I can never find all the items I'm looking for in stock at one time. The GG was not the only times I've had this issue. When they started carrying Siam tanks, I ran into the same issue. Tanks would be in stock, the stainless caps would be out of stock, or the filler tool would be out of stock.

I gave up, sadly!!

Sorry for the COV rant in the ePipeMods forum. :)

Hey Dave, the V1 Mjolnirs varied more in size, but were a tad smaller on average. (you have a significantly smaller one pictured)
The V2 Mjolnirs are very consistent in size @ 1 1/4" X 2".

The V1 Pipes however were quite a bit larger than the current V2 pipes.
I know that doesn't make a whole lot of sense but that's how everything worked out.

After dropping $150 on the pipe and accoutrements, I don't think I could convince the wife of a Penelope. But she IS gorgeous!

lol, I hear ya fully man. Wasnt trying to sell ya one or anything, and I wasnt joking when I said it has the potential to ruin everything else for you. Sometimes I wish I didnt ever buy a Penelope because now all I want is rebuildables and they typically are not cheap.

I think I've found the perfect thread cone for my pipe. In the first pic that was taken a couple of months ago, I had to fix my pipe and add another ego connector. I concealed the original connector with the ribbed part of an ego dual coil mouthpiece.

DSC_1352.jpg

It didn't look right, it wasn't flush. So I ordered a bell cut cone (it hasn't come in yet) So sitting at home with my Vivi Nova tank looking inadequate as hell on my pipe, I decided to look for alternatives. From marker caps to duct tape... nothing looked right. I gave up and right in front of me on my desk was this empty bottle of cologne. It was like the almighty of pipes sent me a message to take apart the cologne bottle that I never seemed to throw away. At first, I was going to take the cap and drill through it but it would've been a tad thicker than the shank and it would bug me to death.
So I took the cologne spray cap and pushed out the plastic fitment and to my surprise, fits perfectly over the ego carto rubber piece and ends right at the base of the Vivi Nova. It has enough space for air flow, and is like a giant dripshield.

Epic win of the day :D
