I ordered a killer today. Really looking forward to receiving it. The killer is what I thought I wanted when I was looking to rid myself of cartos. Now post genesis it's a great way to put my tanks back to work. Anyone know if these work with the long carto tanks? I have a big daddy tank that I'm hoping it will work with...

I have it in a longish tank with a universal to make up the extra length.

How did you build it. I never even looked at the stock build. What did you think it was made with? Im assuming something less than 3mm silica and 32g wire. What did you install. How many wraps and size of wire and wick and what ohms did it work out too. I've never rebuilt the thing yet. If you get it working fantastically Ill give it the same treatment myself.
Hey guys what I did to eliminate all that was to buy a tank with a fill port, then all you do is assemble the killer and tank then pop the plug and fill, this eliminates any pressure forced juice into the device... I bought a v tank for the pro vari which gives it the hybrid look and also is one sharp tank

Like Matt said a universal will work or a long straight drip dip like the Siam mods one. It will essentially extend the killer.

Yea, Killer is on order along with a tank and a couple drip tips. The list for Vela say won't open again till late summer (August). I can't till tomorrows pipe launch.

You guys make me jealous with those Velas. Ive only got myself to blame though, Ive had many chances to get on the list. Even started filling out the form. Just couldnt pull the trigger on that price. Always bought another pipe instead lol.

I am getting the mod in my sig though. Its no Vela but its awesome in its own way. Its call Another F*%$#ng Personal Vaporizer. What a fantastic name. Designed from the ground up by a forum member. Made in USA through emachineshop. Comes with all three sized battery tubes, a 510 cap to use it out of hybrid mode and in 18350 mode its barely taller than a bic lighter. And thats not the best part, even at that incredibly small size it has a 4Mil juice capacity. Oh, and it is about $130 for everything since the maker isnt taking a dime from it. That said, Ill trade you for your vela ;)

Its a coop that has been around since January. You can still get on the backup list but its a long shot at this point. I dont think they will ever be made again. Its a super utilitarian mod, not fancy like the Velas and GG's of the world. Its been a fun coop. He has been showing us all the steps so far, including him gold plating all the connection parts and the center pins. Id get on the list sooner than later though. Its in the active coop section.

Never seen or heard of Vella or AFPV... Pics?

This is just the working prototype. Picture is just to show it in 18350 as an example of how small it is. I still cant believe it holds 4Mils, until I saw him fill it on video. I dont have any Caravela pics around but a quick google pic search should do.

EDIT: Here is one. This is NOT my pic. Its from Vapor Wall

Matt vela is short for caravela. Thats the short term and I know u heard of the caravella, it is now the most wanted besides the chi you on all forums. Im at work now otherwise I would snap a shot of both the vela and chi in case u never seen them although I am not al too crazy bout the vela as for the chi. I got them cause I was very curious abnout the hype and imho I love usa made anything and as for anything chinese I am not a fan of at all so that being said the chi is first on the block to get the boot. But never again will I ever waste as much money as I did on these two . I would rather wait for a new unicorn to come in and take the throne leaving those that once were in the more available catagory, and thats when I will try new units, never again will I spend 3 times the price for a unit that has been gouged through the roof. Its crazy when all of the se devices do pretty much almost the same job. Like I said never again. I will stick with ma epipes....

I dont think the Chi is Chinese is it. I thought Korean or something, but Im not sure.

Im with you, Im gonna stick with pipes. I got the AFPV for its name and the fact that I am hard on my PV when I travel, thus damaging my blessed pipes. I thought this would make a good travel mod that I can scratch to death and not worry about it. The pic shows an aluminum battery tube but the final is all SS. I would be scared to death to travel with the gorgeous Chi or Vela.

As a Caravela and epipemod owner I will say that the Caravela has been worth every dollar. I pretty much lucked out on the vela and put my name on the list last Nov. I got it and it is awesome. I love the form factor of my epipemods to the end but the mech mod is great for the Uber low res genesis wraps. I know Matt speaks against the low res wraps but they really work for me. Granted, I now wrap around 1.0 ohms rather than the .7 I was wrapping before. And actually as much as I appreciate Matt looking out for the vaping community I would really like an unregulated epipe. Enough of the rambling. Thank you Matt for you and your team's hard work.

I am the same way Dirq, my mods take a beating but I am more careful with my pipes cause of the soft wood, but thats what my bolt was for, that was my demolition mod that survived anything till the wires burnt out.
As I agree the vela and chi are gorgeouse but agin with mods I am bad and wish we had more american modders unless we do and I have not heard of them yet.
