Sorry, I was saying "stain" in the sense of what it would do ... not as in a wood stain like I would use on my flooring. I have to use that lacquery crap enough on the home remodeling projects and avoid it for anything else ... but I definitely see why you thought that was what I was saying. My bad for getting loose with terminology.

Thinking of mixing a custom stain but will be experimenting on another piece of wood (or on a small that I'm about to hacksaw off of the CIY block) before applying to the CIY. I may just go with the oil though. What I really want is to darken the darkest parts but keep the lighter reddish color intact, which is probably just not going to work out ... and that's fine ... this briar was reaaaallly nice and red when wet.

You can do exactly that with the process I described above.

Oh and by the way, I used to keep my Malle Burl Billiard in the car, but I don't think it likes the heat & humidity. The battery has become really really tight, probably due to swelling, so I got that little chrome pipe from madvapes. Surprisingly nice for 50 bucks -- the switch is very smooth, it's solid, and compact. Perfiect for the car, especially when you want to keep your valuable ePipeMod in pristine condition!

I am not a collector. I have only two atties - one of which I use regularly and the other is a back-up. I have three mods coming - one big battery mech mod, one smaller-sized telescopic mech mod, one epipe. I may purchase one other atty that is smaller and shorter and a big battery pipe along the way, but that's where I'll stop. One of each mod type is enough. Oh, I forgot a VW device

Congratulations, and welcome to the family!

If you're looking to go with a carto tank, get one of the new glass DCT tanks with 1.8ohm cartos.

Another easy setup would be the VapeOnly BCC tanks with replaceable/rebuildable heads.

If you decide you want to take the next step-up to "gennys", nothing beats the RSST at this time for price or ease of use.

Ive been vaping for s short while w/ a Vision Spinner and Krager T3. What is a good beginner tank setup for the pipe that will accept a churchwarden?

Vivi Nova or the BCC would be good beginner tanks.

Some day I will save for a numbered TI-mech-teliscoping-hybrid as a Wow piece & a custom wood pipe. But I still need a cheap glass-Genni (4 Cinnamon and the like juice's) and a back-up VW for loaning out to convert my three remaining anolog friends.
