What are you using for wick these days Matt. Ive got some eco wool or whatever its called coming from a friend. This picture doesnt look like silica to me although since Ive only got silica from one place I gotta admit im not well educated on silica and the other options out there like cheesecloth, cotton and ecowool.

The silica that they are pre wired with is a braided type. They also come with our standard 2mm twisted rope silica.
I have been experimenting with different set ups and ways to wrap your coil/silica. I have also put a ceramic cup from my killer and eBaron in it, which increased the dripping capacity a bit. Once I'm done fiddling and find my favorite setup I will do a video.
My most recent wrap is a doubled 2mm short wick with 3-4 wraps of 34awg. This seems to wick best and should prove to last a bit longer as well.

That sounds like a very nice setup, I wonder how a Diver ceramic cup will fair. I think they are basically the same only smaller. I'd like to know where I could acquire some more of that braided silica wick.

I was not impressed with the stock setup on mine. It tasted dirty. You may want to run it under some hot water for a bit before use. That might help.

Just pulled the trigger on the brass rba! Will be my first silica atty and I'm kinda nervous. Only built gennies up yo now. I would be very interested in that video if you can get to it.

If you can build a genesis then the silica should be easy peasy. Don't have to fiddle with silica, just wrap and go.

hmmmm i think i might pull the trigger on a sun tonight if these are gonna be that limited. I am also gonna pick up some nextel and slide a piece of ss mesh inside to build a wick like that in it. I also have som braided anodized wick sleeving that needs to be experimented with.

I've been back to the site and added that one to my cart about a dozen times tonight. My dilemma is I have two pipes and really like the way they are setup now. The RA looks really nice and I like the ideal of being able to setup a silica wick with out non-resistance wire.

I ordered the dragon one the other day, but the sun one is calling my name too.

I know how you feel brother, I accidently ordered a pair of 14500 batteries off the site instead of 18500 and decided that I now needed a new mod because I dont have any 14500 mods to fit them in What in the world is wrong with me? So in my cockamamie way of thinking that just means you need a couple new pipes so you dont disturb your other setups

Unfortunately that is the same conclusion I have come to as well.

Still undergoing fine tuning of the software. It's kind of been back burnered until the SW bugs are ironed out. With everything else going on I see no reason to rush it.

Have been thinkin about selling my "69" Erics Edition/Killer setup and Cobra, but with the 4 new atties I have coming my way, I don't think I can afford to lose a mod to put one on. This is a def rock and a hard place... Well not really, but still a hard decision.

Yeah I have a bunch of stuff I want to get rid of but its all mediocre stuff like a few clones, agat+, vamo maybe my rsst..... thinking about just doing a bulk classy with some juice as there is no point of selling any of that on its own.

I was also thinking of maybe getting rid of my zen cobalt to help fund all this new stuff. Its soooo tough to part with and was my first one.

yeah man.... which is why I want this rba so much. I dont think that would leave my pipe once i put it on! Has anyone asked matt if that new stem is completely custom sized or will it fir 510's or the universal?

thats kind of what I got from the description. Im also going to see if anyone around wants to trade.... I have a short saddle lucite black marble stem that is just too dark of a color and want more of a brighter color like orange or yellow. I know this has to go in the classies but just putting the word out first
