erlkonigin nickel builds

Hello guys i just ordered a erlkönigin rta. I would like some input please from you guys that own them. And are running nickel builds in them. As far as what builds are working for you for this device. Number of wraps what diameter bit what temp and what watts have been working for ut ect. I am using 28 gauge ni200 currently in my other builds for other set ups. Been doing 8 Wraps of 28 gauge on 7/64th spaced for my russian v2 working out to .13. Any other problems or hurtles for this rta with nickel would be helpfull. Allso is there a way to take of the deck of this device with oit draining it. Been bouncing between kayfun v4. The sqaupe r or the erl for a few weeks. Just pulled the trigger direct from them 10 minutes ago. Allso i run 70vg 30pg allways

Here's my nickel build for my Erls. I use heavy VG (70-80%) juices so I wick a little unconventionally by not putting anything down the vertical channels. Dual twisted 30g Ni200, 8 spaced wraps, 3mm ID

Removing the base with a full tank can be done as I and several others have been successful. It's a little tricky but not that difficult.

Loosen top cap to about 1mm from top of tank
Push tank section towards the top
Tighten top cap
Loosen and remove base

Reverse the above to put it back together.

ECF member vapdivrr showed how to in the following video he posted to http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rta/573083-erlkoenigin-pictorial.html thread in the RTA sub-forum. Base removal begins right around the 24:00 mark.

Thank you jaxgator. I looked for a couple hours atleast on info and a vid for taking of the deck with out emptying the tank couldnt find any thing. I figured it could be done because it looks that the threads for the top and threads for the base spin in oposite directions. like the twisted gauge build. I have been using rba and rta for a couple year and still havent used a twisted wrap yet maybe this will be the device to try it out on. It wicks good for you not putting any cotton down the juice channels. thanks again

It came in pretty inpressed on the ship time coming from over seas. 205.00 us for the erl with drip tip adapter metal tank and glass tank. 190 from us vender for the tank with black drip tip this came with the metal drip tip. First build today got it yester day. First time with twisted wire is 28 gauge twisted around 3/32 bit 8 1/2 wraps came out 2 .08 little low first try it works. Running 440 degrees done temp up to 30 watts no temp protection coming on. Vapes decent more playing to get it were i want it. Great device. And i had to pulse fire and squash it to get it to fit. Was to big and was touching the screws.

Congrats! Good looking build. That's why I used the 30g; to get more resistance. The DNA40 will fire below 0.1Ω but that's what they say is the lowest threshold.

Thanks jaxator i checked oit the thread to much to go through got to page 30 and had enough. I diddnt find one nickel build there and none for it in the nickel build thread that i could c. Waiting on 30 and 32 gauve nickel to come in. Made this one today is 28 gauge 2 strand twisted. Aroun d 3/32 bit is 1.1 ohm steady. Runn8ng 370 watts at between 19.5 and 20.5 and has tons of flavor and tons of vapor. Flavor is stronger then any rta i own and i have a shoe box full. Juice is mt baker vapor 80vg 20 pg is a juice i hqve been ordering for a year very familiar with the taste and vapor production. Sorry for the spelling phone is being stupide.
