eSmoke, I love and hate you

Hi all! Just wanted to send a huge thanks to ECF for getting me on the right track.

I spotted an eSmoke display of starter kits about a month ago in my local smoke shop and decided to surprise my wife with a fresher smelling hubby and finally kick the habit for good. I dropped $50 for a sensation series starter kit(1 battery-E9 variation I believe, a usb charger and 2 carts). Within 24 hours, I realized the downtime on the battery would be the death of me and bought a 2nd starter kit. I settled into buying a box of 5 carts every two days(at $18 bucks a box) and just kept thinking, how can anyone say this is cheaper than smoking!

So I started researching, found ECF and finally was able to make heads and tails of the vaping world. Refilling my own carts has been a massive money saver. I ordered some better batts, juice and carts from the vendors recommended on these forums(and spent way less on them as well). I finally feel like this is something I can do.

Thank you again to the members that make ECF great.

In AZ there is also ecigsupply.com, however I've never shopped there, and they would seem to only have the KR808D-1, not the E9/KR808D-2. They carry the Indulgence mod, which has a ton of adapters including 901/KR808D-1.

However, azsmokefree.com carries both D2->D1 and D2-D1
The Better Way To Smoke - Adaptor, KR808D-2 Battery to KR808-1 Cartomizer
The Better Way To Smoke - Adaptor, KR808D-1 Battery to KR808-2 Cartomizer

They carry the DSE-905 Nomad mod in 901/KR808D-1.

Kit is priced a "tad" high, but hell, you're better off than my first kit, Blu, and I spent $80 for my T-rex set from a local shop. An impulse buy is a net win in this case. I "think" they're using 260mAh batteries for their shorts, which is above base 180mAh. My first time around I was using 3 180mAh batteries in rotation, but two 260mAh isn't anything to sneeze at.

Thanks for the support guys. I have an 808d-1 w/ pcc on the way as well as a passthrough version. I will keep the E9s for backup though.

Cool beans. Those PCCs are spiffy, and AFAIK hard to find in E9/KR808D-2. It might be those E9 batteries hold more charge than the 808s. PCCs call for short 808s, and short 808s are either 180mah or 250-280mAh.

@ jbeery & waterbeatsfire - also - I know you are both not in the metro phoenix area but you should join the Vaping in Phoenix forum and join our monthly vape meets. We have a lot of members who come down from various places for the meets. A great and friendly group and it's nice to see what everyone else is using and try every ones different juices. Usually have a supplier there too.

@ JP - Thanks for the invite! I may be in Phoenix next month for some training, either way, I'll keep an eye on the forum and try to make it out to a meet.

@Jbeery - Have you found any good shops in the Prescott area?? The 1 shop I have out here in Chino is awful for vape supplies.

I have only used mail order to date. Where the heck is a shop in Chino? Now keep in mind I have not checked it out for myself but the smoke shop down on Cortez may have some supplies-

The shop in Chino is not worth your time. They have njoy and eSmoke starter kits, a few carts for those models and a couple ejuice bottles(all eSmoke tobacco flavor). That being said, it's on 89 just past Road 2 South. Stronghold SmokeShop.

I checked out the Hippie Emporium on Miller Valley Rd today. They are still setting up shop and have no vaping supplies as of yet. They told me they expect to have a good selection within a couple weeks.

Is the shop on Cortez cool? I almost went there today, but I thought it was mostly cigars. Also, have you been to Smoke M on 69? I'm gonna swing by there tomorrow. Looks like they may actually carry some accessories and juice. (Fingers crossed)

The Smoke shop on Cortez was just a guess on my part I really do not know for sure. I do not know about the Smoke M ? Eager for the recon!

I'm new to the forum as well. My wife and I both are trying to quit analogs and this site has given some wonderful insight. I went ahead and purchased a Bloog MF kit. With the limited battery life, I bought two additional batteries and 30 mil of wowboy ejuice from V4L and started refilling the cartos. That made all the difference so now we can enjoy vaping all day. We're going to stick with an analog look because our goal is to quit analogs and not vape for a hobby, but who knows, all the mods and hardware are very cool and the ejuice has a great flavor.
