I am starting to realize that as someone 6'5" tall and 260 lbs my life is apparently quite different from most people.
Some of the things you guys have to put up with really suck.
Nobody has ever said anything to me that was in any way derogatory.
I wish it was that way for the rest of you.
I kind of miss my days of waist long hair and leather, I had people grab their kids and cross the street to avoid me.
Or just embrace it.
Nothing says "I don't care what you think of my Volt / Twist" quite like a layer of glittery nail-polish...
Oh im not going home and crying about it or anything, its just people being illogical gets under my skin after a while when you hear the same non sense. Im 34 years old, i dont get peer pressured or picked on, lol
Its always under the veil of being a good natured joke, its just that I know theres some reason why people go out of their way to hate and hide thier motives under a framing premise that seems a bit less derisible than out and out schoolyard insults. Its sad. Humans are boring sometimes. They cant just say "I want to quit too I just dont know anything about what youre doing and that scares me, and I dont want people to look at me funny either."

First off....congratulations on quitting and staying off of them even in the face of this ridiculousness.
I would be willing to bet that those that are trying to get you to smoke or telling you its "gay" or using other defamatory remarks to describe vaping are most likely people that want to quit themselves, and are afraid of making that step. They also most likely have admiration for you because you are displaying that you are strong and doing what they feel they cannot...quit.
Perhaps laugh along with them and then let them try it and explain how you maybe had your doubts in the beginning too, but look at you now. You can even try the old "feel-felt-found" sales closing approach:
"Yeah I know how you feel, I felt the same way about vaping, then after I tried it I found that it curbed my urge for traditional cigs and it actually tastes better too. I also found that I feel so much better in the mornings/during exercise/walking, etc. I really think you would feel the same way if you gave it a try. You ready to try it?"

Im actually looking for a good menthol tobacco juice, menthol is really refreshing...I used stock pre filled menthol cartos when I started and they sucked, and I just forgot about menthol...but I just bought a bottle of arctic ice from vapor bomb and its delicious. Closest Ive come to an all day vape...Im hoping once I get my hands on some bobas that I like it so I can mix them and get all nostalgic about my Kools
I never meant to insinuate that you were crying about it. You have done something very hard, harder to quit than some illicit drugs. Your friends should be proud of you! You deserve to be proud of what you have accomplished as well, and you're right, that behavior's childish.

Never smoked mentholds myself but when vaping I find that a tobacco-menthol or just plain up menthol / mint without the tobacco flavoring is my favorite vape so far, so refreshing.
Now If I could find one that tasted exactly like a strawberry milkshake.... mmmmm mmmmm
