I tried a new juice yesterday. Loved the smell of it. Vaped great and I thought I found another all day vape. Today I filled up my clearo and it's disgusting to me. Way too much caramel and it's almost sickly sweet. I know it's not my taste buds because all my other liquids taste the same. I even put it in a carto with the same nasty result. WTF!!!!???

Even now smelling it it turns my stomach. Seems to be the same juice I'm just responding to it differently or something. I know it's not a steeping issue, but still....WOW

That has happened to me. Got some RY4 in a sample size and loved it. The next day I started dripping it and all I could taste was raw ginger. It pretty much stayed that way for a couple of days. I tried it again today and it was ok, not great, but definitely better than the pure ginger taste (only has a hint of ginger to it now).

I blamed the change in flavor on day two to my improving taste buds. But now that it has changed back to decent I'm clueless.

Funny you mention that. Day one of trying a small bottle of Boba's a while back was sheer bliss. The next day, it became tasteless to me, its aroma became less inviting (oily almost) and I set it aside for a few days.

Seems like the opposite's happening at the moment with a caramel flavor. Started out tasting more like incense or rose water than caramel and it was very hard to vape, but with persistance and a couple more days with it, I get little more than the sweetness and enjoy it. I must have killed off my Indian taste receptors! :)

It happens to me all the time. Even my go to juices sometimes either just taste off to me, or will have zero taste. The best solution I have found is to either brush my teeth (totally helps), or to add a drop of a contrasting flavor. I have a bottle of some seriously minty stuff that I tend to add to my clearo when a juice begins to lose flavor or taste odd. As with anything regarding vaping or taste buds, YMMV.
